Compact (AMC) is a Synchronous Transport Module

When deploying the optional Alcatel-Lucent TransLAN®
Card, the 1645 AMC supports a diverse mix of standar
dized Ethernet services. Depending on the TransLAN
Card selected, the 1645 AMC provides the following
capabilities:
