How to navigate BIReL

BIReL has three (3) main menus upon logging in: Home,
Dashboard, and My courses.

You can make the menu on right appear and disappear by

clicking Hide blocks/Show blocks.
You collapse and de-collapse the menu on the right by clicking
the minus/plus button.

The Home menu displays all available training courses on BIReL.

The Dashboard menu displays your recently accessed courses.

You will see all the courses you are enrolled under the My
courses menu.

How to open a course in BIReL

Choose the on-going course you want to enter under the My
1 Courses > In progress menu. Click on the course name.
You will not be able to enter courses that have not yet started.
However, under My courses > Future, you will see the list of
courses you have been enrolled in.

A new menu will be available once inside a course. You can use
2 the This course menu to navigate the content of the course.

Read carefully the instruction included inside the course and take
3 note of the deadlines for the activities.

Some sections cannot be opened unless a specific

activity has been completed as indicated by the tick box.
The check mark on the tick box automatically turns blue
once the activity is complete.

Many activities in the BIReL courses can be done

asynchronously— at your own pace, anytime, anywhere.
However, take note of activities with specific date and time of
availability. Post-tests, for example, may only be available at a
certain period of a certain day.
Should you encounter any problem in BIReL
during the duration of the course, a Help Desk
Forum is available inside the course. Rest
assured that the training administrators of
the course will get back to you asap.
