COURSE INFORMATION
1. Course Number : GE 11
2. Course Name : The Entrepreneurial Mind
3. Course Description : This course aims to encourage students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and provides a clear
understanding of the nature, concepts of business endeavors and entrepreneurship. It describes the role of the entrepreneur,
innovation and technology in the entrepreneurial process towards the development of growth oriented and innovative ventures
either profit or non-profit undertakings. Also, enhancing the abilities of students both a way of thinking and of doing about the
basic entrepreneurial activities. It involves "building something from nothing" and successful entrepreneurs know how to
manage and mitigate uncertainty and risk.

6. Credit : 3.0 units
7. Class schedule : 6 hours per week
8. Program Educational Objectives (PEO) of Human Resource Management:
Three to five years after graduation, the Business Administration graduates are expected to:
1. Perform the different business activities towards strategic directions.
2. Involve activity as partners of relevant government institutions, professional organizations and civic-
program of the community towards socio-economic development.
3. Conduct a community-based business research for continuous techno-enviropreneurial development in
a borderless economy.

Second Exam Lesson 4 - 5 Multiple Choice You are expected to internalize the deep knowledge on Marketing plan and Management

strategies, techniques, and procedures of the basic activities of Marketing and Management
(100% of the exam) as well as the current approaches of business. This task is designed for you to critically think
of the crucial responsibility of Entrepreneur in venturing a business in the Marketing and
Management aspect.

Presentation plan such as: a. Executive Summary, SWOT analysis, conclusion, and recommendation; b.
Marketing Plan; c. Management Plan. This assessment task is designed for you to demonstrate
comprehensive understanding of the principles, techniques, and strategies as well as the current
practices and problems that an entrepreneur may encountered.

Final Exam Lesson 8-9 Business You are expected to present your deep knowledge and abilities of the whole components of
Presentation Business plan such as: a. Executive Summary, SWOT analysis, conclusion, and
recommendation; b. Marketing Plan; c. Management Plan; d. Production Plan, and c. Financial
Plan. This assessment task is designed for you to demonstrate comprehensive understanding
of the principles, techniques, and strategies as well as the current practices and problems that
an entrepreneur may encountered.

Open forum.

14. Policies and guidelines


a. Attendance is counted from the first to the last regular class meeting.
b. A validated student identification card must always by worn be all students while attending classes.
c. To utilize modern technologies. MONDAY to SATURDAY are scheduled for LMS use.
d. Cheating is strictly prohibited. Any form of dishonesty shall be dealt with accordingly. Honesty is called for at all
times.
e. Valid examination permits are necessary in taking the examinations as scheduled.
f. Base-15 grading policy should be observed. Students who obtained failing scores in major exams are
recommended to attend the tutorial class.
