II. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1. Explain well the Elements of Poetry applied to their poem.
2. Discuss the importance of Elements of Poetry.
3. Identify the sound techniques or device in Elements of poetry.
A. ACTIVITY
Review about the Previous lesson: Students should be able to share their knowledge
about the discussion last meeting.
B. ANALYSIS
Content -50
Grammar, Spelling and Form (It should be 4 stanzas with four lines each) -20
Presentation (Shows mastery of the topic) -15
Creativity/ Group participation -15
TOTAL: 100 pts.
C. ABSTRACTION
SOUNDS TECHNIQUES’
3. Assonance- The repetition of a word with vowel sound within the line of a
poem.
Ex: That is the way we will pray today, okay?
D. APPLICATION
Written task 2:
Task:
Search and define Rhymes, Alliteration, Consonance, and Assonance
using your own words. Explain it in two or more sentences.
Write it in any paper, digital app, or msword. (2 pts. Each)
After that, construct your own example regarding to the sound
devices/techniques mentioned above.
One example sentence in Rhymes, Alliteration, Assonance, and
Consonance. (2pts. each)
