Discussion

The results of the experiments show that the temperature of the hot chocolate with
marshmallow drops from 60°C at the moment of 1 minute to 50°C at the instant of 5
minutes.
It means the temperature of the hot chocolate with marshmallow decreases by 10°C
in 4 minutes.

The experiment results also show that the temperature of the hot chocolate without
marshmallow reduces from 55°C at the moment of 1 minute to 46°C at the instant of
5 minutes.
It indicates that the temperature of the hot chocolate without marshmallow
decreases by 9°C in 4 minutes.

The results clearly suggest that in the same time period of 4 minutes, the hot
chocolate with marshmallow has a greater decrease in temperature than the hot
chocolate without marshmallow.
Conclusion

According to the results of the experiment, the hypothesis that the cup of hot
chocolate without marshmallows will have a greater temperature decrease is
wrong.

Actually, the hot chocolate with marshmallow has a greater temperature decrease
than the hot chocolate without marshmallow in the same length of time.

The marshmallows in the hot chocolate leads to faster temperature decrease.
