Q7: By creating a dataset of 100 rows and 5 columns, show how filters can be used in excel

and explain the steps. Different criteria should be used to demonstrate its use.
Ans:
Filters can be used to narrow down the data in your worksheet and hide parts of it from view.
While it may sound a little like grouping, filtering is different because it allows you to qualify
and display only the data that interests you.
Filter a range of data

1. Select any cell within the range.

2. Select Data > Filter.
3. Select the column header arrow .
4. Select Text Filters or Number Filters, and then select a comparison, like Between.
5. Enter the filter criteria and select OK.

Filter data in a table

When you Create and format tables, filter controls are automatically added to the table
headers.

1. Select the column header arrow for the column you want to filter.
2. Uncheck (Select All) and select the boxes you want to show.
3. Click OK.

The column header arrow  changes to a Filter icon. Select this icon to change or clear the
filter.
Q10: Assume you are doing a job somewhere. Tell about your work and data used over there
and how all text functions will help you out to make your work easy
Ans:
The TEXT function lets you change the way a number appears by applying formatting to it
with format codes. It's useful in situations where you want to display numbers in a more
readable format, or you want to combine numbers with text or symbols.
