Internet Banking Registration Process


To register for Internet Banking, A user must have a mobile number and access to internet. The
mobile plartform will be the receiving channel for the One Off Key and One time passwords to be
used on login .

The user must fill in the Internet Banking Registration form in the banking hall or download the form
on the Agribank website and scan and send for registration. Once registered an email is sent with
login credentials and a One off key sms is sent to the users mobile number.

Access

The following url must be used by Agribank Staff members, for accesseing the Internet Banking Site.

192.168.0.180/internetbanking/index.aspx

For external customers, the link will be sent on the email they receive upon registration or if they
access the Agribank Website, the link is also uploaded there.

Once registered and all passwords received on email and cell phone, the following steps can be used
inorder to access one’s Internet Banking Account

LOGIN
The url above will open the page below on any browser and the screen shown below is the login
screen. User must input the login credentials that he/she received after registration on email.

Once credentials are entered correctly. The terms and conditions screen appears which prompts the
user to accept or decline. Users are therefore advised to read the terms and conditions before
accepting .

After accepting the terms and condition, the change password screen appears where user is
supposed to change password to his/her choice in line with the password policy. User is also
supposed to enter the One off key which he/she received as SMS .

Once all passwords are set and details entered correctly, the password change successful screen
appears and prompts user to Login in as shown below. The details required are the username and
new password entered.

After inputting the new password and username, SMS with a login key or one time password is sent
to the user. That one time key will be valid for only 2 and half hours. The key is the one required on
the screen below in order to complete the login process

MAIN MENU
Successful login will open the main menu screen. This page has default account summary as shown
below for example available balance, account number etc. There is a navigation bar which has 8
menu items. Each of which has a list of pages under it in order to direct a user on where to find what
information when anticipating to transact.

MY PAGE

My page is the first menu item which has my account information, email requests and change
password pages. My account information page is the same as the default page that comes out after
login. This page has the account details of the user. The name, account number, balances, password
expiry dates and last login information. A user can also request for emails on the email requests
page and the final page being the change password page allows the user to change password. It is
advised that users change passwords frequently for security purposes also in line with the password
policy.

Enquiries menu has the following pages;

Mini Statement

Full Statement

Loan Enquiry

These will just give a report of the required information. The user must select the account number
so that the mini statement is printed. The Mini statement displays last 10 transactions processed on
the users account.

Full Statement has 2 options. Either viewing the full statement on the same page or sending the
statement to ones email. The full statement, like mini, displays transactions for the last 30 Days
processed on the account.

Loan enquiry gives the user full payment schedule of loan ie the payments and the interests.

TRANSACTIONS

The menu item has 6 pages which include the Own account transfer, Internal transfer, External
Funds transfer etc.

Own account transfer

This is a transfer between accounts that belong to one person. A user can have 2 or more accounts
and choose to transfer funds among these, the own account option will be used for those purposes.
According to the screen below, the user chooses account from which those funds are debited and
enters the details to which the funds are credited. Validation will also take place and that means a
transfer to a closed account will not go through.

Internal funds transfer

This is transfer between Agribank accounts. The process is almost the same as the own account
transfer were by a user selects account from which funds are debited to the destination account.

External Funds Transfer – RTGS

Transfer from Agribank account to any other external bank account. The screen below shows how
the RTGS process is done. The user needs to have complete details of transfer as shown below.
There is a drop down text box for the beneficiary bank, user can choose to which bank the funds are
to be credited.

Bulk payments

Entails transfer to many destination accounts. The user must have a file which has the account
number details in the format highlighted on the screen below. The file is to be uploaded and bulk
payment details will be required so that funds are transferred accordingly.

Authorise Transactions
All the transactions done on users account need authorisation be it the own account transfer,
internal transfer or RTGS. Users will actually receive instruction to authorise transaction once it is
successfully committed. The Authorisation screen will be used for these purposes. The user need to
choose which transactions to authorise or reject or edit as shown on screen below. A selection of the
authorise button will prompt a confirmation in the form of a message box on whether to go ahead
and authorise the transaction or not. Once authorisation is completed, a successful transfer message
is displayed on screen.

Authorise Bulk Payments

For the process of bulk payments to be complete, the user must authorise the payments or transfers
using screen below. Selection of which transactions to be authorised is required and will be
processed accordingly.

Tools
The Internet banking portal has several other functions found under tools menu. These include, loan
calculator, mortgage calculator and forex calculator. The loan details will be required if it’s a loan
calculator, the schedule which has the complete details about the loan including how much interest
will be charged etc will be displayed upon pressing the calculate button.

Logout Screen

For security purposes, users must log out of the system when they are not using the website in order
to avoid intruders who can manipulate one’s account.

Users can also indicated if they need the e-statements function were by one chooses to receive
his/her statement daily, weekly or monthly. The generation of these statements is triggered when a
transaction is processed in one’s account, then the statement will be sent according to the
frequencies.
