PRACTICAL RESEARCH 1
WEEK 1
Qualitative Research
1. Research is indeed a headache for those who think of it negatively yet very satisfying for those who enjoy doing it.
The first time I made a research, my experiences weren’t that great. I’ve struggled a lot and experienced difficulties,
I’ve spent a lot of time and effort in analyzing the topic, gathering information/facts, and doing surveys. But despite
of those, my hard work paid off since I manage to make it all well done. There are some desirable characteristics to
follow in order to make good research. A research should focus on priority problems, it must also be systematic,
logical, reductive, replicable, action oriented and most importantly, it should be simple, timely and time-bound,
employing a comparatively simple design. Research also has a lot of importance to consider. It is a tool for building
knowledge and facilitating learning, it enhances capabilities and widens knowledge not just for students but also for
professionals. It means to understand issues and increase public awareness, helps people to succeed in business,
research also promotes love and confidence in r eading, writing, analyzing, and sharing valuable information.
And it allows us to disprove lies and support truths.
