How to Use this Book
IWelcome to my second book of random tables for science fiction tabletop role‐playing games.
Like the first book, these tables will help you cut down your gamemaster prep time and spark
magic at the gaming table.
The first few tables deal with laboratories. The Lab Experiments table makes sure exploring or
visiting research facilities is fun and exciting. The other tables in this section let gamemasters
fill in details on the fly.
Hauling cargo and participating in trade are usually key elements in science fiction role‐playing
games. The goal of the tables in the Cargo & Trade Goods section is to simplify them for the
gamemaster. You will find all manner of products, metals, and other commodities to use during
your sessions.
A gamemaster can never have enough adventure ideas and encounter ideas. These tables
provide seed ideas for many space adventures.
Frustrated when a player misses a session? If so, then use this table to find out what the player
character is doing while they are away.
A sci‐fi adventure is not complete without some technobabble. Roll multiple times on these
two tables to create strings of important‐sounding pseudoscience jargon.
Names, names, names. Names can be the downfall of the best of GMs. Never get caught
without a ship name, a corporation name, and other names ever again.
I created this book to ensure weary gamemasters can take a bit of the load off of their
shoulders, so they do not burn out. With the twenty‐five random tables in this book, you are
primed to set the galaxy on fire with adventure.
