How does this The discussion is an introduction of Multi-Dimensional Assessment

Teachers under Project GLOW, which aimed to provide a quality-
assured assessment tool in DepEd Quezon
Learning Objectives The following are the objectives of the session:

1. Identify the importance of authentic learning and assessment;

2. Explain the rules in framing assessment items that are authentic


and multi-dimensional;

3. Introduce the Multidimensional Assessment tool with SOLO

 Students should be given with opportunity to put their skills and
knowledge to practical use in the development of solutions or
products that will be of immediate benefit to their communities
and the world at large;
 Teachers should review the rules in framing assessment items
and writing or construction of test authentic items and multi-
dimensional;

 In constructing test- items, considering models of Multi-


Dimensional Assessment like Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy and the
Structure of Observed Learning Outcomes can provide authentic
item

 Multidimensional assessment of learning is an approach of


looking at different levels of learning to understand the strengths
and weaknesses of learners.

 An assessment is multi-dimensional if it follows the criteria of


Revised Blooms’ Taxonomy, TIMSS, PISA, SEA-PLM, ILSA etc.
