Model 6600 M4 Datasheet
Model 6600 M4 Datasheet
The 6600-M4 Automated Tester is ideal for use on aircraft with "Smart Probes" capable of measuring AOA using Air Data. The
tester has one Static output (Ps1), one Pitot output (Pt) and a third output (Ps2) which can be used to simulate either AOA or
AOS. Using the small and light-weight Remote unit a user can operate the tester from the cockpit and test the entire pitot and
static system of the aircraft. The tester includes built-in vacuum and pressure pumps and emergency manual bleed-down
valves. The high accuracy of this unit meets all RVSM requirements. Also, it requires no maintenance other than to be
calibrated only once a year. The use of “Profiles” makes it possible for the operator to run through a test using only a single
key on the Remote unit.
Specifications
Ps1 Output “Jog” feature
Pressure function Allows set-point to be increased or decreased in steps of 1
range: 0.1 to 42 inHg foot or 0.1 knots simply by using arrow keys.
resolution: 0.0001 inHg
accuracy: 0.002 inHg “Profiles” feature
Altitude function A profile of the standard set-points of an altimeter check or
range: -4000 ft. to 80,000 ft. airspeed check can be downloaded from a computer. Such a
resolution: 1 foot profile allows the user to operate the unit using a single key. Up
accuracy: 2 ft. @ 0 ft; to 12 such profiles can be stored in the unit. PC-based software
6 ft. @ 35,000 ft. is included.
12 ft. @ 50,000 ft.
50 ft. @ 80,000 ft
Climb function Pressure & Vacuum system
range: 0 ft/min to 50,000 ft/min The tester includes separate pressure and vacuum
resolution: 1 ft/min diaphragm pumps for higher reliability. The pressure system
accuracy: 1% of rate of climb includes a membrane dryer, and a filter to provide clean dry air
Displayed units: Feet, meters, inHg, mbar for the entire system.
Remote unit
Ps2 Output
The Remote unit is the operator interface for the tester. It
Pressure function: Same as for Ps1 Output
is small and light enough to be used in the cockpit. The tester
Altitude function: Same as for Ps1 Output can be turned On and Off from the Remote. All valid

range: 0 to 500 knots
resolution: 0.1 knots Manual Vent
accuracy: 0.3 knots @ 50 knots The tester includes manual metering valves to enable the
0.16 knots @ 100 knots system (aircraft) to be manually vented in the event of loss of
0.05 knots @ 500 knots power.
