NARRATIVE REPORT ON NATIONAL READING MONTH 2021

“I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want
to take all the books I want to read and all the friends I want to see.” -John
Burroughs

those things that can make him/her happy and one of those things that will surely
enrich his/her lines is by READING. That is the reason why, Nov. 26, 2021 marked

virtual kick-off last Nov. 8. The storytelling was focused on the techniques that
teachers and parents may use to keep learners interested in stories and help them

The Last Nov. 26, at exactly 9:00 in the morning the school conducted “Araw

stories that the learners will surely love. The students truly enjoyed the role they
played according to its characters. They showed varied emotions as we went
through the different adventures that each character undertook.
The teacher allowed selected learners to read some lines in the story and be able to
retell on their own understanding. After the storytelling, the teacher raised HOTs
questions in order to measure student’s comprehension.
Indeed, reading of book specially storytelling is a great help to enhance
reading proficiency level of our learners.
