1.0 INTRODUCTION

Maintenance is an activity that has been implemented to preserve and maintain the facilities
and the environment as per contract 1 years of free maintenance will be provided for all new
lift that has been replaced. Any breakdown will be incurred by this contractor during DLP
period.

The reason for maintenance are:


• To make sure the tools are functioning continuously and safe to use.
• To maintain and extend the tools life spans
• To increase the performance
• To reduce damage
• To guarantee the client’s safety

Maintenance of lift system for this project includes 30 units lifts at 15 different apartments
building which are A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, A10, A11, A12, A13, A14, A25
and A26.
2.0 BREAKDOWN STATISTIC
As a conclusion, referring to monthly report DLP period started in April until October and as per
October there are breakdown report that has been reported. Lift Block A3-E are the highest
frequent breakdown.
