INTRODUCTION

The Dajjal (False Messiah), has a variety of key purposes, is to misguide, deceive,lie about
what is true to falsify, distort and target the true essence of religion and that is the belief
that there is only one God (Allah). The Dajjal, will be given the power to misguide people
and to really take the baton from shaytan iblees and display a new innovation of power and
authority that is never seen before.
Throughout history and when we focuse on the subject of “political leadership,” majority of
pharoahs, presidents, kings, chancellors, emperors have engage in oppression to there own
people and lies that brings false economical promises. How many people have been
deceived by there own leader? and how many people fell into the traps of deception?

Al-Bukhari and Muslim, 
on the authority of Abu Hurairah (Radiya Allahu Anhu) reported that the Messenger of
Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said, "The Hour will not come until (approximately) 30
anti-Christs and liars will be raised. Each of them will claim that he is a Messenger of
Allah"

The notion, of becoming somebody who deceives, relates to one of the characteristics of
the Dajjal (False Messiah). The infrastructure, that builds a nation, through creative and
rapid innovation. The legislation and policies that implement so called fair justice in society
can all be a false dilemma that feeds in corruption and lies. What this means is that religion
has no value in people’s life and their spiritual needs. Therefore, their constant innovation
and legislation that results is the neglect of God (Allah) and that this outweighs the focus
and desire to learn about who the creator is? and to follow his principles, is seemly not
there.

All the confusion that appears in the world brings with it lies and the systematic falsehoods
have intensified by leaders.
The “spiritual transition,” can be the divine impact in one’s personal struggle and spiritual
guidance. Another practical example of “spiritual transition” can be the spiritual and
physical dimension in which the dajjal proceeds and this would categories as “spiritual
transition.”
The major signs have not entered this world and is transition that links to severe hardships
and trials that can then enter this dimension, by the permission of Allah. Therefore, the
Spiritual war and conflict itself that has proceeded throughout history has always been good
vs evil. In terms of the Dajjal’s psychological, philosophical abilities, will be his tools and
power that will test mankind and to see if humans enter into the whole of deception.

Dajjal will be given, certain divine authorities, in which for example he will command the
rain to fall only on areas where he is accepted by people.

Nawwas bin Sam’an reported that Allah’s Messenger said, ‘Then he will command the sky
and it will shed its rain. And he will command the earth and it will bring forth crops
(Muslim 2937 – 110)

This particular power, given to dajjal (False Messiah) is to the control and manage the
resources in a manner that will be a great humiliation, to the one who seeks his help.
As periods and centuries have gone there have been earthquakes, floods, droughts etc.
These climate impacts have displayed the anger of God, or it has reminded and emphasis to
mankind their neglect or forgetfulness towards God will result in punishment when Allah
determines.
When we look some of the powers that will given to dajjal by the permission of Allah. Is
being able to shake objects (i.e., earthquake).

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

The Prophet ( ‫ )ﷺ‬said, "There will be no town which Ad-Dajjal will not enter except Mecca
and Medina, and there will be no entrance (road) (of both Mecca and Medina) but the
angels will be standing in rows guarding it against him, and then Medina will shake with
its inhabitants thrice (i.e. three earthquakes will take place) and Allah will expel all the
non-believers and the hypocrites from it."
Rain, is such an important, sustenance to have. As people use rain for agriculture, to store
water and other things as well. The more that water diminishes in the world and continues
to, this triggers one of prophecies of the major signs to happen and that is the appearance
of false Messiah.

Hadith narrated by Ibn Majah, Ibn Khuzaymah, and Ad-Dhiya', attributed to Abu

Umamah, reports that the Prophet of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam, said:
"There will be three hard years before the Dajjal (appears). During them, people will be
stricken by a great famine. In the first year, Allah will command the sky to withhold a
third of its rain, and the earth to withhold a third a third of its produce. In the second year,
Allah will command the sky to withhold two thirds of its rain, and the earth to withhold
two thirds of its produce. In the third year, Allah will command the sky to withhold all of
its rain, and it will not rain a single drop of rain. He will command the earth to withhold all
of its produce, and no plant will grow. All hoofed animals will perish, except that which
Allah wills."
Circumstance in which before the appearance of dajjal becomes known, is that mankind will
experience severe drought and that on the day of judgment the sun will brought closer
according to a hadith:
Abu Umamah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon
him, said, “The sun will be lowered on the Day of Resurrection to the distance of a
mile and its heat will be increased by as much. It will boil skulls just like the
boiling of pots. They will sweat by the measure of their sins. Among them are
those to whom it will reach their ankles, among them are those to whom it will
reach their shins, among them are those to whom it will reach their midsections,
and among them are those who are subsumed in sweat.”

Hadith regarding ‘three hard years and the other hadith regarding the sun being lowered
one talks about the drought and other hadith discuses about the cosmological change. For
drought to happen then is apparent that sun will brough closer in near distant future or
when Allah degrees. These two hadith have a similarity in the way the sun will have an
impact on the climate and is consequence upon a severe trial, so the first hadith mentioning
‘three hard years,’ explains that there will be no rain whatsoever globally and second hadith
explains if the sun is brought close then therefore the significant changes in the universal
structure. What can we understand from sun’s aid to the dajjal, first of all the period in
which the dajjal will have control of over elements of creation (Sun moon, plants and
agriculture) is for forty days.
The hadith regarding ‘three hard years,’ relates to the beginning period of hardship. For

with people perception of what is true and what is false and to further push away the
believers towards ignorant and to the category of extreme ignorant and to take the dajjal as

Belief has such great purpose at the time and appearance of the dajjal. To obtain strong
belief and firm upon religion requires training and patience, because we understand that
Iman increases and decreases. Therefore, the of trial of dajjal is one of the biggest tests for
one’s Iman and his ability to withstand false temptation. Because the false temptation that
dajjal will display are not true and have no benefit whatsoever.
 ‘Imran ibn Husayn reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him,
said, “Nothing between the creation of Adam until the establishment of the Hour is a
greater tribulation than the affair of the False Messiah.”

DAJJAL KEY AGENDAS

The tribulation in which the dajjal will implement through his key agendas:

(I) Is to erase the straight path (i.e., Islam)

(II) to damage Iman
(III) to slowdown the progress of Iman
(IV) to wage war against the correct belief by targeting the true religion and claim it to be
false

(I) Is to erase the straight path (i.e Islam)

The straight path is a road that is constructed for the believer to follow and be guided to the
truth, so therefore Iblees sits on the path. We can understand that shaytan will be working
as an ally with dajjal, as shaytan has try to damage the Iman of believers and therefore
when dajjal tells a group of people if I resurrect your parents will you believe they will say
yes and two shaytan will take the form of his parents.

From the time Iblees casted envy towards Adam by planning and plotting against the
children of Adam to divert the true believers from disobeying Allah and to further misguide
the non – believers in order to make them forget about creator and this has paved the way
and cultivated doubtful matters and dajjal will further grind
(II) to damage Iman
Iman is vital tool against the fight against Dajjal’s (false messiah) through his temptation and
doubts. Dajjal doubts upon the believers will only strengthen the believer that dajjal (False
Messiah) is not God by making preparation in boosting Iman. Dajjal aim will be to damage
the hearts of believers and try to imprison their hearts with the temptation he presents.

To corrupt the hearts of believing servants by creating argumentation and claims about
why? He thinks the religion of Islam is wrong and false. This should not be something new,
dajjal argumentation will very be deceptive and eventual agreed by weak Muslims.

Bringing ideas and concepts to change the rational truth and to form a new religion that will
claim by him to bring structure the safety and security of those who believe in him.

(III) to slowdown the progress of Iman

To diminish the expansion of the true religion by means of war and to minimize the core of
Aqedah (creed) and dajjal will bring doubtful matters.

(IV) to wage war against the correct belief by targeting the true religion and claim it to be
false

Dajjal will balance between bringing peace on one side and justifying his war against the
truth i.e., Islam on the other. What seems to be apparent can only truly reflect upon the
deep deception and the false psychological practices that he presents.
Some further examples are:
. Falsehood will only triumph for a certain period and then diminish within forty days, as
dajjal will remain for this duration.
. By transforming lands into paradise and seducing the believers
. Dominating lands and gaining support

During the beginning of the rule of the dajjal. He will claim to be the real prophet. And
therefore, people will convince that he is indeed a prophet due his false miracles. Like for
example raising the dead, bringing rain etc.
The prophethood that dajjal will claim, has a significant impact towards the Jewish faith and
Christianity as a whole. In terms of Jewish faith, they believe that their Messiah is believed
in Judaism to be a righteous king who will be sent by God to unite people all over the world
regardless of race, culture, or religion. Therefore, the external righteousness of dajjal will
really be false and therefore Jewish people will accept due the severe lies he imposes and
same with Christianity.
Matters in which falsehood appears must be really assessed and such claims need to be
verified. There are many people who claim to be divine, not distinguish between truth and
falsehood can demonstrate a heavy misguidance. Therefore, we are reminded about the
goodness that comes:

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Messenger of Allah (blessings
and peace of Allah be upon him), that he said:

“At the beginning of every century Allah will send to this ummah someone who will renew
its religious understanding.”

The Islamic revival is a great benefit to Muslims and mankind. The resurrection of the true
Islamic faith that proceeds every 100 years that implements and rectifies the situation of
Muslims. Throughout history there have been Islamic revolution upon knowledge of great
Islamic scholars existed in the past like Bukhari, Muslim, Ibn tamiyyah, Imam Nawawi, Abu
Hanifa.

Before the arrival dajjal there will great deception which therefore fits within the personality
of dajjal but those who disbelievers cannot distinguish between right from wrong and truth
from false.
 “And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].”(Quran
2:42)

The weight of evil, would be great for a partial period, the dajjal would remain for 40 days.
he will stay for 40 days, one like a year, one like a month, one like a week, and rest of his
days like normal days.

The character of dajjal only defines the true error and ignorance that the believer will
identify in him.
There have been many prophets and messengers throughout history. Prophethood comes
with responsibility and guidance. Therefore, Dajjal claim to be prophet is one of skills sets he
uses to deceive mankind by bringing false miracles. Essentially the false miracles will bring
majority of mankind to belief in him, due to deceptive miracles.

TRUTHFUL VS FALSEHOOD
Truthful matters require a person to be guided. And the falsehood matters require the
individual to be misguided. The nature in which misguidance comes is through the error of
deception, for example believers will be able to identify kafir written on the forehead of
dajjal so there able to identify the fault.
What can we define as something being truthful? The day of judgement, death, our
existence, life etc. So, the Dajjal on one occasion showed a truthful advise and this can be
found in the hadith of Tameem al Daari.
 “tell me about the Prophet if the unlettered; what has he done?’ We said: ‘He has left
Makkah and has settled in Yathrib (Madeenah).’ He said: ‘Do the Arabs fight against
him?’ We said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘How did he deal with them?’ We told him that he had
prevailed over the Arabs in his vicinity and they had shown obedience to him. He said to
us: ‘Has it really happened?’ We said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘If it is so that is better for them that
they show obedience to him.
The hadith states.

‘If it is so that is better for them that they show obedience to him.

The advice that the dajjal gives is honest and truthful matter. The challenge that dajjal will
implement and present to the believers is kufr (disbelief). Therefore, those who around the
prophets should obey his message and not deviate from the truth. Dajjal message to
Tameem al Dari and the two tribes that dajjal was given a sincere opinion to follow the truth
because the message of prophet Muhammad S.A.W does not deviate to something that is
false. Even falsehood was telling some truth.

Conclusion
The nature of dajjal fulfilment is to change the believers i.e., Muslims to disbelief. It appears
that dajjal will be possessed in evil and this evil manifest from disbelief, greed, power and
claim divinity. There are two stages of dajjal aim to claim prophet and then claim to be God.
The prophet Muhammad S.A.W has warned as about him, so has all the other prophets. We
try our best in terms building Iman and staying on the straight path.
