Campaign Guidelines
GENERAL GUIDELINES
All participants in the election process are entrusted with the responsibility to uphold and promote five
fundamental values: Honesty, Trust, Respect, Fairness, and Responsibility. These core elements foster an atmosphere
in all educational endeavors, including the election process that serves as a foundation for the highest standards of
conduct and guides the participants‟ academic, professional, and personal growth. Endorsement of these core
elements strengthens the integrity and value of the election process.
1. CAMPAIGN PERIOD (Online and Physical)
All campaign material must be approved by the SCO Advisers, who will ensure content meets campus
standards.
Any candidate caught defacing or removing another candidate’s materials will forfeit candidacy.
Each candidate will be allowed THREE (3) posters. No PROPS OF ANY SORT.
Posters and banners may not exceed 3 feet by 2 feet/Cartolina size. They will be taken down if they exceed
these measurements.
No posters or banners shall be displayed in any classrooms and offices.
Campaigns are confined to INSIDE the school building.
o Posters shall not have any reference to ALCOHOL, DRUGS, VIOLENCE, SEX, PROFANITY,
RELIGIOUS SYMBOLS, and OR ANY VIOLATION OF SCHOOL RULES.
o No campaign material may slander any other candidate.
Posters and banners will be made outside of the school building.
Posters/banners, will not be attached to any plaster walls or glass. If done, they will be taken down.
All posters must be placed in approved locations.
All posters/banners must be down after school on the last day of voting.
Buttons, candy, stickers, any mass production items are not allowed but flyers.
3. ELECTION DAY
Election Day will be scheduled 2 days. September 27 will be for students scheduled every Mondays and
Tuesdays. September 28 will be for students scheduled every Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Voting precinct will be at the computer laboratory. Automated voting process will be facilitated by the SCO
advisers and the Tech Team.
Students will be scheduled per class to cast their votes. Each student is only allowed to cast One Vote.
Voters and candidates may not loiter outside the Voting precinct.
Masterlist of each class from the school’s registrar will be the basis for Official voters.
Voting line will start at 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.
Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the second voting day. Results will be produced after.
Final result shall be undersigned by the SCO advisers.
Official result shall be final and irrevocable.

Note:
It is impossible to foresee all possible incidents. Therefore, the Student Council Organization Advisers reserve the
right to make any additional decisions. Also, any infractions can result in either a vote deduction or disqualification.
Minor infractions will be a 5 vote deduction. Unapproved posters or poster locations will be a 3 vote deduction. All
other deductions and/or disqualifications are the hands of the SCO Advisers. Be aware that any slander of any other
candidate will be treated with the utmost seriousness and will result in disqualification.

This letter serves as official notification that the candidates for Student Council Organization below will be having
their room-to-room campaign on September 19-22, 2022. This is to give students an opportunity to develop
leadership hence, students develop strong leadership skills when they are given the ability to voice their thoughts and
ideas.
Please consider giving the aspirants an excused absence in your class. The candidates acknowledge they are
responsible for completing all works prior to and after the campaign period
