Just the other days, as I was entering the classroom my colleagues were all
chatting so loudly, but that was nothing uncommon. I sat in my desk and I heard the teacher
approaching; suddenly there was silence. As the steps were getting nearer, we saw a tall
silhouette which didn’t look like the teacher we knew. It was someone else, a substitute I guess;
she said “Hello, students, I am Maxine Smith and I am new around here! This week we are going
to work together on a new project and I am counting on you that the results will be great! What
do you think about making our school known?”
We were a little confused, but later she revealed to us that she had experience into
blogging and that she intended to create a new image for our school. Mrs Smith passed on
important knowledge and we all got to look up to her. Another benefit was that she managed to
bring together students who didn’t get on well before. That was a surprise! She also taught us,
that no matter how difficult a task would be, we should never give up. At the end of our
‘partnership’, Mrs Smith told us about a blog-making contest and persuaded us to sign up. She is
very confident that we could win!
