Productivity Tip: Pay attention to how you're speaking. If you're nervous, you might talk
quickly. This increases the chances that you'll trip over your words, or say something you
don't mean. Force yourself to slow down by breathing deeply. Don't be afraid to gather
your thoughts; pauses are an important part of conversation, and they make you sound
confident, natural, and authentic.
INTRODUCTION
Read: This time, your teacher will assess your speaking skills through a one-on-one discussion.
Do not forget to incorporate what you have learned in the previous cycles. The rubric in grading
you is attached in this worksheet. Make sure to go over it for you to be aware on how you will be
graded. Remember to relax and enjoy the discussion. Good luck!
Before your interviews, you will hear sample questions and sample answers. Listen and take note
of how the questions were answered. The questions asked to you may not be the same as the
sample questions in the audio.
