II. BUSINESS DESCRIPTION

The name of our company Rhythm and Brew was taken from the main
concept of our service. Which is to serve a cup of coffee and other refreshing
beverages while our customers are vibing to their favorite playlist and relishing
the view that our coffee shop offers. Whilst at night time, we hold regular live
music performances by local artists to entertain our customers.

Our logo represents our identity as a distinctive yet powerful coffee house.
We use neutral colors such as white and different shades of brown. The logo
features a cup of coffee, coffee bean with sun rays above. It means that in
every cup of coffee that we serve, it aims to brighten up someone’s mood and
bring positivity to anyone who is having it. Other than that, we did not put too
many elements on the logo. Because we believe that our notable name and
rare logo design is already efficacious and convincing that doesn’t need
something else in order to be remembered.

situated in a public park that is visited by numerous tourists for recreational
activities and family gatherings or bondings of friends. Therefore, it will appeal to

the tourist attractions in Tagaytay, it is expected to be visited by tourists
may it be a solo traveler or a group of travelers such as families, circle of
friends, and couples will be one of the customers we aimed for.

Cafe during their breaks with their colleagues to have some coffee and
discuss work or anything they like to.

peacefully, or just wanted to enjoy the comforts of our coffee shop’s
offerings. Aside from that, students don't only go to coffee shops to do
school work but going to coffee shops is another way that many students
socialize.
● NEARBY RESIDENTS - There are numerous other business professionals that
work and reside near Tagaytay Picnic Grove. There were law firms,
hospitals and insurance agencies that are within a few minutes away from
our location.

MARKETING STRATEGY

The most important element of our marketing strategy is to connect our

superior quality products and services to the market. Our cafes, pastries,
desserts, other beverages and entertainment must sell themselves through the
marketing strategies that will be utilized by R&B Cafe:
● LOYALTY AND INCENTIVE PROGRAMS - Providing free products that
increase the value of freebies over time whenever customers spend
certain amounts.
● PROMOTIONS AND ADVERTISING - Couple sales promotions and
advertising from time to time to give our company a boost in new visits.
And since we also provide live music entertainment for our customers, we
can also invite local and well known artists to perform.
● WORD-OF-MOUTH ADVERTISING - Personal recommendations from our
regular customers will be helpful in convincing potential customers
because this basically means that the value of our products and services
surpass the expectations of our previous customers.
● SOCIAL MEDIA ADVERTISING - We will use social media platforms such as
Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to easily reach and connect with our
customers. Social media platforms will help us to stretch out to a larger
audience whenever we have announcements, promos and the like.

IV. MARKETING AND SALES PLAN

Seek what is trendy at the time! Sampling, with product selection and as
an innovator in the market by having unusual and interesting selections, we
would be giving customers the opportunity to try our products. Our marketing
ideas on the business would be:

● SOCIAL MEDIA ADVERTISING - Our coffee shop would use timely platforms
such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. We would showcase images
and videos of our drinks and pastries and use these channels to promote
any special deals and discounts we would be offering the public.
● REVIEWS - Sites like Facebook and Google Reviews are incredibly
beneficial to our coffee shop. They provide feedback about our
establishment that can bring new patrons to the business. They’re also an
excellent platform to showcase the brand and speak to customers
directly. Simply asking for reviews is a great way to create word of mouth
about our business.
● DISCOUNT PROGRAMS - Our coffee shop implements loyalty programs
and member discounts that entice customers to return again and again.
These programs drive revenue and increase customer loyalty.

A proper strategy entails developing a solid coffee shop marketing plan based
on extensive market research, making wise investments, and acting. This
strategy must be followed on a regular basis. Our customers are our core in the
business. We would provide them with their necessary needs and want to fall in
love on our business, here are some strategies we’ll be using:

● AESTHETIC COFFEE SHOP - The exterior and interior of our shop serves the
customer aesthetic, Instagram-worthy view. We make sure that these
views would be pleasing and have an eye-catching appeal to everyone.
This would ideally, lure people into stopping by for a cup of coffee, even if
they hadn't intended to originally but because they were attracted to
what they’ve seen.
● LEVEL UP BRANDING - A defined presence is absolutely necessary that sets
us apart from our potential competitors. Our coffee shop logo and colors
have a story behind that promotes specific values. Representing a strong
brand all customers recognize and respect. We gravitate towards our
dedication to what the customers see (and like) who we are, what we
believe in, and what we stand for as an organization.
● FREE WI-FI AT A PET-FRIENDLY COFFEE SHOP - A charming coffee shop can
quickly become everyone's favorite spot. All you need is a stable internet
connection, good coffee, and free Wi-Fi. We include a pet-friendly policy
and allow coffee drinkers to bring their furry friends with them. Our
customers can bring a pet, get some free Wi-Fi, and plug in a laptop if
needed.
● DIGITAL AND SOCIAL MEDIA - Our coffee shop would focus on creating a
community of customers. Creating our unique drink offerings, advertising
them on social media, and connect to our followers about our craft that
we do. We would increase our brand's reach by bringing our shop's vibe
to the content and sharing it with the community. We’ll post promotions
on social media and organize photo contests geared towards
user-generated content regarding the coffee shop.
● FOOD DELIVERY APPS - Joining food delivery apps such as Food Panda
and Grab is the easiest way to expand our reach beyond the
neighborhood. This would create an opportunity for our coffee to be
available to people who want the convenience of delivery.

V. COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS

Rhythm & Brew Cafe is located near Tagaytay Picnic Grove, where there
are a lot of competitors, as we all know Tagaytay is known for its relaxing view,
cafes are very in demand in this place. Here are some of its competitors that we
consider:
● SIGLO BREW - this cafe offers original local coffee such as arabica,
robusta, liberica, and excelsa. Their method of serving their coffee is what
they call Pour-over coffee, this way it will make the coffee more tastier
and it has a lot of health benefits. They also serve other beverages such as
beer and juice.
● I LOVE MILKTEA - this milktea shop is located in Jeda’s Hotel in Tagaytay.
This shop is known for its delicious milk tea yet affordable prices.

see the view of Tagaytay.

LOCAL ENVIRONMENT

Tagaytay is a component city in Cavite province, divided into 34

Barangays. This city is one of the persistent places in the South due to its
excellent view, adding its overlook Taal Lake and cold weather. In the year 2020
census, there are 85,330 population of Tagaytay, with a density of 1,300
inhabitants per square kilometer or 3,400 inhabitants per square mile. Being a
second class city, Tagaytay is receiving more than Php20 million but not over
Php30 million. Traffic in Tagaytay has worsened because it is one of the top
tourist and local destinations. These encompass traffic through the
Tagaytay-Nasugbu Road, which incorporate a lot of vehicles coming from or
proceeding to the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road. There are vehicles using the
Aguinaldo Highway. Traffic personnel appear helpless as they strive to be in
charge of the traffic movements.
Tagaytay wedding cafe, which is located in Terrace Hill Resort, is one of
the major employers that may affect some cafes, they cater cocktail parties,
wedding ceremonies, and even bridal showers.

COMPETITIVE STRATEGY

Cost leadership is our competitive strategy, Rhythm & Brew produces low
cost products with high quality products, services, and other offerings.
Compared to other cafes, we will lower the price of our products to make it
more affordable, especially as we are targeting students who are on a budget
to enjoy our products and services.

● Having two cashiers, baristas, waiters and utility workers on a shift means
there is always a person available in case of someone calling in sick or an
emergency.
● We will also make sure that everyone is clear on their tasks beforehand to
avoid confusion on staff members, for example starting their afternoon
shift can be instructed to focus on bussing tables and stocking fridges
while the others make drinks to keep service running smoothly without too
many people behind the bar.
● To ensure staff loyalty we will also read up on some local labor laws and
make sure that we comply with them. And will give staff members
adequate time between shifts, an appropriate number of hours per week,
and the correct rate of pay for any overtime.
