Quick Guide to Live view, Recording Review, Export and Replay

Live Viewing
You can chose which cameras are displayed on the local screen. By using the
Connected mouse, remote control or front panel (based on model)

Mouse: right click any video window in live view mode and select the Live
Display required from the menu.

Playing Back Record Files


Instant Playing Back

Purpose:
Play back the recorded video files of a specific channel in the live view mode.
Channel switch is supported.

Steps:
Choose a channel in live view mode using the mouse and right click the video
window to give the quick launch menu

Then select the instant playback button in the quick setting toolbar.
NOTE: In the instant playback mode, only files recorded during the last five
Minutes on this channel will be played back.

You can drag the playback bar to move forwards or backwards

a) Enter the Playback interface.

Mouse: right click any video window in live view mode and
Select Playback from the menu.
NOTE: Front Panel - press PLAY button to play back record files of the channel
Under single-screen live view mode. Pressing numerical buttons will switch
Playback to the corresponding channels during playback process.

Playback Management

The toolbar in the bottom part of Playback interface can be used to control
Playing progress, as shown below.

a. Select the desired camera to view in playback


b. Then select the desired date from the calendar – items marked in blue
Indicate recorded footage on the hard drive for that date.
c. The footage recording bar will then appear at the bottom time line (the
Colour is dependent on the type of recording set – blue is continuous

d. You can zoom in and out of the time bar to go from hours to minutes
e. Then simply press play/fast fwd. or rewind to control the footage.

NOTE: More advanced playback and search options are available


b) Download/Export
To download or export images or video footage from the unit, you can do this by
Creating a clip (quickest method), selecting a time and date period, or attaching
Tags to footage start and stop and download the tagged video period.
Creating a Clip
• Follow the previous instructions to identify the correct camera and time
And date required.
• now move the playback footage on the time bar or by the play controls to

• At the bottom of the screen, you will see a small icon which looks like pair of
scissors

• Click this scissor icon at the start of the identified footage, now move the
Footage to the end of the required section, and Click this icon again to end

• Now if you click on the close X in the top right of the screen, this will close
The Playback screen, in doing so you will be automatically prompted to
Save the created clip.
• you can re-do this process after saving, and then enter File Management
And Export several clips.

• Follow the on screen instructions and save the clip and then Export the
Clips(s) to USB or the in-built CD/DVD if fitted.
• Check the selection to export the playback software as well as the CCTV
Footage.
