As a student, how do you show your duties and responsibilities as a Filipino citizen?
Student’s Answer:

Many youths don’t have an idea that at their age they already have a duties and responsibilities
in our country as a Filipino citizen. In time that youth have been awaken their sleeping
consciousness regarding their responsibilities, they can manage duties as Filipinos in simple yet
important ways.

I could show my duties in this country by fulfilling my responsibilities correspondingly,


obeying the law and paying respect to patrimony, values, tradition, culture and Filipino heritages.
Giving honor to our country by doing an action that is not inhumane, following simple instructions
like the safety health protocols, giving help to other people in to my extent of capability of helping
them, opening the minds of my age and lower than me by teaching and sharing the knowledge I
have learned in school and experiences in life. By simply maintaining the proper manner and
behavior when we hear the national anthem, same goes with the pledge of alliance to the national
flag as I raise my right hand. Being mindful and alert in what is happening in our politics to know
what is right and search facts and information to help other people especially the voters in election
time, to help them decide wisely on who should they vote to stand in our country. Don’t
procrastinate your duties as a citizen stand on your responsibilities.

 All are obligated to work so that they can live a life where all enjoy freedom and justice. To
this end, Filipinos should be unified regardless of their ethnicity or background and help other
Filipinos without discrimination. The responsibility falls upon everyone to take action against
corruption by not tolerating it but reporting it when observed. Be a responsible individual and face
your duties and responsibilities as you should.
