Ventisorb

This safety data sheet provides information on Ventisorb, a soda lime product. Ventisorb consists primarily of calcium hydroxide (>75%) and contains sodium hydroxide (3%). It can cause burns to eyes and skin upon contact. Personal protective equipment including gloves and eye protection should be worn when handling. Ventisorb is a white solid with no odor, and is slightly soluble in water with a pH of 12-14. When exposed to air, it converts to calcium and sodium carbonates.
