THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE MARKET STARTED IN 1973 WHEREBY IT’S THE BUYING AND
SELLING OF CURRENCIES. FOREX FIRST STARTED WITH BANKS BECAUSE THEY HAD
AN FSP LICENSE WHICH ENABLED THEM TO TRADE ON BEHALF OF PEOPLE AND
PROVIDE FINANCIAL SERVICES. BEFORE FOREX CAME INTO EXISTENCE PEOPLE USED
TO TRADE COMMODITIES WHICH IS KNOWN AS OIL AND SPICES.

• NASDAQ IS AN AMERICA STOCK EXCHANGE. IT IS THE SECOND-LARGEST STOCK
EXCHANGE IN THE WORLD BY MARKET CAPITALIZATION, BEHIND ONLY THE
NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE. NASDAQ WAS ORIGINALLY AN ACRONYM FOR
THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SECURITIES DEALERS.

TECHNICAL ANALYSIS

• Technical analysis is a method of predicting


future price movements and future market
trends by studying the charts or rather
analyzing the market. It focuses on what
has happened in the market.
FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS

• Fundamental analysis is method of forecasting


the future price movements of a financial
instrument based on economic, political
environmental and other relevant factors and
statistics that will affect the basic supply and
demand of NASDAQ.

• When a graph breaks through Support, the Support now
becomes the Resistance.

TRENDS OF MARKET
MOVEMENT
• A trend refers to the direction of price. Rising
peaks and troughs constitute an up trend,
falling peaks and troughs constitute a
downtrend that determines the steepness of
the current trends. The breaking of a trend
line usually signals a trend reversal. Horizontal
peaks and troughs characterize a trending
range.
TRENDLINES

• Trendlines are the lines drawn on the highest points (peaks)


or lowest points (troughs) of the graph to determine the
general direction of the graph.
• There are three types of trendlines, namely:
• An upward trend, rising peaks and troughs constitute an uptrend.
• A downward trend, falling peaks and troughs constitute a
downtrend.
• A ranging trend, horizontal peaks and troughs characterize a trending
range.
