At the end of the 40-minute lesson, the students should be able to:
a. Identify the different shapes and the face part of the body;
b. and describe the properties Rectangle, Square, Triangle and Circle;
c. Work other children to complete a group task with guidance.

A. Preliminary Activities

a. Greetings
Good morning to my beautiful and handsome All: Good morning too our beautiful Teacher!
students!
All: We are good Teacher!
How are you today?

b. Prayer
Before we start our lesson today, let us first All: “Angel of God, my guardian dear to whom
give thanks to our God and ask for His God’s love commits me here. Ever this day, be

Class, before we start our lesson for today I’ll
recite one Poem that related to our topic
today, and after that I will show you some All: Yes, Teacher!
shapes related to that Poem, and I want you
to identify the shapes that I will show to you.

My eyes are square, but I’m okay


My ears are circles, but I’m okay

their sides.

Okay Class so Shapes has different sides
(pointing the illustration on the board), the
Square, Rectangle, Circle and Triangle. (Pupils will do the excellent clap)
Will you please help teacher to count the sides
of these shapes? Just raise your hands.

Okay now you know what the different shapes


look like and you also know how many sides it
has. i will flash four pictures and I want you to
guess and mention what its shape it is. Is that

Now class, I will give you a group activity, so

group yourself into two. As you can see I drew
different shapes in the board and as you can
see each shape has a missing side, so you
have to complete the shape by drawing on the (Pupils will do the hooray clap)
missing side of the shapes. Are we clear class?

Very good! Seems like you really pay attention

Of all the shapes that we encounter for today’s
lesson, which shapes would you say you like

IV. EVALUATION:

Direction: Write the correct number of sides of each shapes. Write your answer at the bottom of the
picture.
