1. This Question Paper has 5 Sections A-E.
2. Section A has 20 MCQs carrying 1 mark each
3. Section B has 5 questions carrying 02 marks each.
4. Section C has 6 questions carrying 03 marks each.
5. Section D has 4 questions carrying 05 marks each.
6. Section E has 3 case based integrated units of assessment (04 marks each) with sub parts
of the values of 1, 1 and 2 marks each respectively.
7. All Questions are compulsory. However, an internal choice in 2 Qs of 5 marks, 2 Qs of 3
marks and 2 Questions of 2 marks has been provided. An internal choice has been provided
in the 2marks questions of Section E
8. Draw neat figures wherever required. Take π =22/7 wherever required if not stated.

31 A box contains 90 discs which are numbered from 1 to 90. If one disc is 3

the mass of the pole, given that 1 cm3 of iron has approximately 8 gm mass. (Use

A container opened at the top and made up of a metal sheet, is in the form of a
frustum of a cone of height 16 cm with radii of its lower and upper ends as 8 cm
and 20 cm respectively. Find the cost of milk which can completely fill the
container, at the rate of Rs. 50 per litre. Also find the cost of metal sheet used to
make the container, if it costs Rs.10 per 100 cm2.

cube. Determine the volume of the remaining block.

A solid is in the shape of a cone surmounted on a hemisphere. The
radius of each of them being 3.5 cm and the total height of the
solid is 9.5 cm. Find the volume of the solid.

36 In a class the teacher asks every student to write an example of A.P. Two friends Geeta and
Madhuri writes their progressions as -5, -2, 1, 4, ... and 187, 184, 181,.... respectively. Now,
the teacher asks various students of the class the following questions on these two
progressions. Help students to find the answers of the questions.

(i) Find the 34th term of the progression written by Madhuri. 1

(ii) Find the sum of common difference of the two progressions. 1

(iii) Find the 19th term of the progression written by Geeta. 2

37 Alia and Shagun are friends living on the same street in Patel Nagar. Shagun's house is at
the intersection of one street with another street on which there is a library. They both study
in the same school and that is not far from Shagun's house. Suppose the school is situated
at the point O, i.e., the origin, Alia's house is at A. Shagun's house is at B and library is at C.
Based on the above information, answer the following questions.

ground and other window is 4 m vertically above the lower window. Ankit and Radha
