- The closest experience cone to the real world was the first one below. It's a direct and
purposeful experience.
3. Which way is farthest from the real world, in this sense most abstract?
- The furthest and most abstract are at the top of the cone, which is the verbal sign. It just
needs a sense of this activity.
4.Is the basis of the arrangement of experiences difficulty of experience or degree of abstraction (the
amount of immediate sensory participation involved)?
- I think the experience cones are ordered by difficulty and level of abstraction.
5.Do the bands of experience (e.g. direct experiences, contrived experience, etc.) follow a rigid,
inflexible pattern? Or is it more correct to think that the bands of experience in the Cone overlap and
blend into one another?
- I think the bands of experience overlap and merge. I think they are connected, especially
when thinking about the process of education and learning.
6. Does the Cone of Experience device mean that all teaching and learning must move systematically
from base to pinnacle?
- I think the cone of experience will only serve as an educator's guide on what to do and what is
needed in the class. Classrooms for younger and older children need to balance concrete and abstract
activities.
- I don't think the sensory experience in isolation one sensory perception is important, blended
and linked to ensure the success of education.
8. Can we overemphasize the amount of direct experience that is required to learn a new concept?
- In the real world, whether you are years old or young, we have concrete or direct and
abstract experiences. This simply indicates that we are providing the learner with a balanced activity so
that the learner does not get stuck at a particular level.
9. Are the upper levels of the Cone for the older student and the lower ones for the child?
-For me, experience cones are for all kids. Each of us needs a direct and abstract experience
every day.
- The Experience Cone is a visual model that represents the Experience Tape, sorted by level of
difficulty and abstraction.
11. What are the learning aids found in the Cone of Experience
- The learning aids found in the cone of experiences are that the use of media in learning is
good, a strong foundation of new learning is rooted in concrete experiences and This learning should be
taken to the abstract level as much as possible.
