your teacher for today. So, I want
you to listen attentively, participate
well during class discussion,
cooperate in group activities, don’t
answer in chorus and raise your
right hand in answering questions.

- Yes ma’am.

want you to tell me what can you
say about it.
- What is this?
- Flowers ma’am.

1. Presentation

- Look at this picture, what is it?

- An elephant ma’am.

- How about this?

- A dancing lady ma’am.

- Another one.

- A lady with a curly hair ma’am.

- And how about this?

- A happy baby ma’am.

- Very good!

2. Discussion

- On the first picture that I’ve shown


a while ago, let us use it in making a
sentence.

* We saw the gray elephant at the


zoo.

- In this example, gray is an


adjective because it describes the
elephant. We can say also what kind
of elephant we saw in the zoo.

- In the second picture.

* The lovely lady in a pink dress.

- I need a volunteer to encircle the


adjective or adjectives on the board.
- lovely and pink
- Thank you.

- We will check it now. In this


sentence, how many adjectives can
we find?

- Good.

- Lovely and pink are the adjectives.


Lovely here is adjective because it
describes the lady. And pink is also
an adjective because it describes
the dress.

- Let us check. How many adjective
or adjectives can we find in this
sentence?

- Two ma’am.

- Very good. So, long describes


what?

- Hair ma’am.

- So, all the words that I’ve shown

adjective. Again, adjective is a word

4. Application

- We will now have a group activity.


The class will be divided into two.
Each member should cooperate so
that your group can answer easily
and correctly.

- I will give your group some


sentences and you will encircle the
correct adjective or adjectives.

- If your group had done answering,


pass it to me so that we will correct
it.
