SERENYS is a fully operational, conveniently priced unit that radiologists
use to acquire high quality images while achieving an optimal workflow.
It is suitable for all breast exams including high volume mammography
screening programs which are always performed with the most accuracy.
DIGITAL SOLUTIONS
SERENYS DR
Complete system for 2D image acquisition, fully upgradable to 3D
SERENYS DR is a full-field digital mammography solution for screening
and diagnostic examinations supporting the prevention of breast cancer.
Designed to ensure patient and operator comfort, it is implementable with
a wide range of accessories including the device for stereotactic and tomo-
guided biopsies.
Also available in a version not upgradable for biopsy exams: SERENYS DR C.
SERENYS DR DBT
Advanced Digital Breast Tomosynthesis system
SERENYS DR DBT is used for two-dimensional diagnostic or screening
and three dimensional tomosynthesis examinations. It generates images
of excellent quality, offering a clear view of lesions with a low level of
dose as compared to conventional mammography. It is easily upgradable
with cutting edge biopsy techniques in tomosynthesis and contrast
mammography.
FLEXIBLE SYSTEMS WITH MANY
DIFFERENT CONFIGURATIONS
1 ISOCENTRIC C-ARM
The motorized isocentric C-Arm (rotation and vertical movement) allows
all breast projections without moving the patient and without adjusting
the height of the C-Arm, making exams faster and more comfortable for
the patient.

2 DETECTOR

Indirect Amorphous silicone (a-Si) and direct amorphous selenium (a-Se)
1 4 detectors are available. The a-se detector allows a signal with an extremely
2 precise profile that preserves the sharpness of the image and guarantees

the highest quality.
3 TOMOSYNTHESIS
With a Digital Breast Tomosynthesis, multiple low-dose x-ray images are
acquired in an arc and then reconstructed to create a three-dimensional
image. This procedure avoids the problem of overlapping structures
seen in conventional 2D mammography and minimizes the impact of
overlapping breast tissue, which significantly enhances the detection and
characterization of breast lesions.
4 SMART μPRESS
Motor-driven adjustable force and manual compression by means of a
double rotary control, ensures optimal compression of the breast with
minimal discomfort to the patient. Based on the specific density of the
breast to be examined, the exclusive FTSE function automatically adjusts

STEREOTACTIC BIOPSY
DEVICE
It locates the 3D position of a breast’s lesion and allows the
operator to reach it by positioning the biopsy needle, even
