The document provides steps to identify materials found in a Magnetic Chip Detector and determine appropriate actions. Step 1 is to visually identify the material using an identification tool. If unidentifiable, Step 2 is to determine if the particles are magnetic or non-magnetic. Step 3 is to analyze the material's composition. After identification, follow manuals to determine required actions based on the material and engine model.
