 Unit – I: Teaching Aptitude Syllabus


The section includes the following:

Understanding the teaching process: Knowledge of the various stages of the teaching
process, including planning, delivery, assessment, and evaluation.

Use of educational technology: Knowledge of the various forms of educational technology


and their appropriate use in the teaching process.

Assessment of student learning: Knowledge of various assessment techniques and their


appropriate use in the assessment of student learning.

Classroom management: Knowledge of effective classroom management strategies and the


ability to create a positive learning environment.

Professional ethics: Knowledge of professional ethics in teaching and the ability to apply
ethical principles in the teaching profession.

 Unit – II: Research Aptitude Syllabus


The section includes the following:

Understanding the research process: Knowledge of the various stages of the research
process, including formulating a research problem, selecting an appropriate research design,
collecting and analyzing data, and reporting research findings.

Research design: Knowledge of the various types of research designs and their appropriate
use in different research contexts.
Data collection and analysis: Knowledge of various data collection methods and techniques
for analyzing and interpreting data.

Ethics in research: Knowledge of ethical principles in research and the ability to apply them
in research activities.

Reporting research findings: Knowledge of effective communication of research findings


through various means such as research papers, presentations, and reports.

 Unit – III: Comprehension Syllabus


The section includes the following:

Vocabulary: Knowledge of words and their meanings, including synonyms, antonyms, and
idioms.

Comprehension: Understanding the main ideas and supporting details of a passage, and the
relationships between them.

Inferences: Drawing conclusions based on the information provided in a passage.

Analyzing arguments: Evaluating the logic and reasoning of an argument, and identifying
any weaknesses or flaws.

Synthesizing information: Combining information from multiple sources and using it to


draw conclusions or solve problems.

 Unit – IV: Communication Syllabus


The section includes the following:

Verbal communication: Knowledge of effective verbal communication skills, including


public speaking, group discussion, and presentation skills.

Written communication: Knowledge of effective written communication skills, including


writing for different audiences and purposes, and editing and proofreading skills.

Language skills: Knowledge of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and
syntax.

Interpersonal communication: Knowledge of effective interpersonal communication skills,


including active listening, empathy, and conflict resolution.

 Unit – V: Mathematical Reasoning and Aptitude Syllabus


The section includes the following:

Algebra: Knowledge of algebraic concepts and techniques, including linear and quadratic
equations, functions, and matrices.

Calculus: Knowledge of differential and integral calculus, including limits, derivatives, and
integrals.

Geometry: Knowledge of geometric concepts and techniques, including lines, angles,


triangles, circles, and solid figures.

Trigonometry: Knowledge of trigonometric functions, identities, and techniques, including


right triangle trigonometry and the laws of sines and cosines.

Probability and statistics: Knowledge of probability and statistical concepts and techniques,
including probability distributions, statistical tests, and data analysis.

 Unit – VI: Logical Reasoning Syllabus


The section includes the following:

Deductive reasoning: Ability to use given information to draw logical conclusions.

Inductive reasoning: Ability to use observations to make generalizations and draw logical
conclusions.

Analogies: Ability to recognize relationships between pairs of words or concepts and to use
these relationships to solve problems.

Syllogisms: Ability to evaluate the validity of syllogisms (arguments in which a conclusion is


drawn from two premises).

Logical puzzles: Ability to solve logical puzzles and brainteasers that require logical
thinking.

 Unit – VII: Data Interpretation Syllabus


The section includes the following:

Reading and interpreting tables, charts, and graphs: Ability to understand and analyze data
presented in tabular, graphical, and visual forms.

Drawing conclusions from data: Ability to use data to draw logical conclusions and make
inferences.

Analyzing trends and patterns in data: Ability to identify trends and patterns in data and to
use them to make predictions.

Applying statistical techniques: Knowledge of statistical techniques such as mean, median,


mode, standard deviation, and correlation, and the ability to use them to analyze data.
 Unit – VIII: Information and Communication Technology

Computer applications: Knowledge of basic computer applications such as word processing,


spreadsheet, presentation software, and internet applications.

Use of ICT in teaching and research: Knowledge of the use of ICT in teaching and research,
including the use of educational technology and research tools.

Data management: Knowledge of data management techniques and tools, including


database management systems and data analysis software.

Security: Knowledge of computer security concepts and techniques, including data


protection, cybersecurity, and privacy.

 Unit – IX: People, Development and Environment Syllabus


The section includes the following:
