Dear Parents,

An announcement was made yesterday evening, by the exam board Cambridge

International that, because of the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, all IGCSE, AS and A level
International May/June exams have been cancelled. This is added to the news that we
received at the end of last week about British National Exams and Edexcel examinations also
being cancelled.

The access to university is guaranteed to our students who have been offered a place at
university this September. Instead of the usual external examinations students´ achievements
will be assessed internally by each school and will be able to receive their A-Level certificates
worldwide. Schools assessments will be based on a combination of factors: coursework
completed, predicted results by schools and mock examination results. Cambridge will give us
clear guidelines by the end of this week. As soon as we have official information, we will be
sharing it with the community.

You can find the official updated information regarding Cambridge International
examinations and the UK Government (Edexcel Board guidelines/Ofqual) through these links:

We encourage our students not to stop working or lose motivation: they need, above all, to
prepare themselves for their internal exams. Our commitment is to dedicate all our efforts to
help students achieve their very best, reach their objectives and obtain admission to the
desired university.

Best wishes

Estimados padres,

Atentamente
