Semi-detailed lesson plan

I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the discussion the students are expected to:

 Define the term abstract noun.


 Identify abstract noun in sentences.
 give their own example
II. SUBJECT MATTER

III. PROCEDURES
A. Preliminary Activities
 The teacher will greet the class and will ask a volunteer to lead for a
prayer.
 The teacher will check the attendance
 The teacher will review the topic yesterday?

`B. Motivation
The teacher will show some pictures for the students to guess the words that
they can associate to these pictures. Additional points will be given to those
students who get the correct answer.

The pictures to identify are: bravery, angry, freedom, love, and health.

C. Presentation

The teacher will ask what is abstract noun to introduce the topic.

The teacher will discuss and give examples of the topic.

The teacher will let the students to identify the abstract noun in the
sentences.

D. Application
The teacher will ask 2 volunteer students to give an example of a sentence
having abstract noun in it and write it in the board. And another 2 students
to identify the abstract noun in the give example in the board.

E. Generalization
The teacher will ask to sum up their lesson.
