Cement Grout Mix Design With Fosroc Cebex 100 Admixture and OPC 43 Cement

This document provides a cement grout mix design using OPC 43 cement with Fosroc Cebex 100 admixture. A trial mix was performed with a water-cement ratio of 0.41, using 15 kg of cement, 6.15 kg of water, and 67.5 gm of Cebex 100 admixture. Testing of cubes cast from the trial mix showed no bleeding, initial setting time of 10 hours, final setting time of 25 hours, volume change of 3.7%, 7-day compressive strength of 27.54 N/mm2, and 28-day compressive strength of 36.66 N/mm2, meeting specification requirements.

SELECTION OF WATER-CEMENT RATIO

As per Admixture recommended Dosage,

adopted water-cement ratio = 0.41 ≤0.45 (As Per MORT&H 5th Rev. Appendices-1800/III Clg.4.1)

 Hence Ok.
