API oil–water separator is a device designed to separate gross amounts of oil and suspended solids
effluents of oil refineries, petrochemical plants, chemical plants, natural gas processing plants an
water sources.

API Separators are frequently used in the pre-treatment of refinery waste water that has been contam
sludge.
