DASHBOARD
On the Dashboard, you can see the 2-step Setup Guide. By going through this guide, you
can get 100% of the software’s functionalities and gain more customers. It takes about
2 minutes to complete!
PLATFORM SETUP
First, you have to connect your Trustindex account to the platforms you have
reviews on.
Currently you can choose from 100+ platforms, and we’re continuously adding new
platforms to the list:
Google
Facebook
Yelp
Amazon
Tripadvisor
Booking.com
Airbnb
Hotels.com
Trustpilot
Opentable
Foursquare
Bookatable
Capterra
Thumbtack
Szallas.hu
Árukereső.hu
…And many more.
Once you made the connection, you have the option to either connect another platform or start
creating widgets.
WIDGET CONFIGURATOR
You can choose from 35 widget layouts and 25 styles to best fit the pages of your
website or webshop. It is best to use different widget layouts at different places and
customize them accordingly.
In the configuration page, you can quickly configure a preview to see how a
given widget layout and widget style would look like on each platform. This preview
feature can significantly accelerate the selection process.
If you choose to display your reviews from “All platforms” in the quick
configuration, you can aggregate all your reviews in 1 widget!
After deciding on a preferred style, you will enter the Style editor.
Widget name:
Add a different name to each widget for easier differentiation.
REVIEW FILTER
Rating filter:
here you can select to only display reviews that are a certain star rating (only 5-
star, 4-5 star, 3-5 star, 1-3 star). This way only reviews with these selected ratings
will appear in the widget!
Tag filter:
This is one of the most useful features of our system. Displaying your reviews will
generate more customers only if the text of the reviews and the content of the
page are similar.
Tagging:
After your reviews are loaded into Trustindex, you can easily do this by
clicking on Review Management in the menu, then choosing
Tagging. There you can add new tags, for example: “Acacia honey”
(Setup: Add -» Name: Acacia honey; keywords: acacia honey; exclude
words: none).
This way the software can instantly filter the reviews containing the
expression “acacia honey”.
o Tag setup:
When configuring a widget, you have to choose the “Acacia honey” tag,
thus only the reviews containing the expression “acacia honey” will be
displayed.
o Select manually:
You have the option to handpick the reviews you’d like to display one by one. We
frequently use this feature, as this way we can make sure to only display the
reviews we choose.
The only disadvantage of this function is that you have to update it regularly. As
the date of the reviews is visible, it is best to update the widgets in every 1/2/3
months, so your visitors can always see up-to-date and relevant reviews.
LANGUAGE
Language:
Select the language of the review summarizing text under the widget and the
date of the reviews.
Reviews:
You can choose to only display reviews written in a certain language (English,
French, etc…)
LINKS
Footer text:
If you only have a few reviews, you can turn off the review summarizing text here.
select where the review summarizing text’s link should redirect the visitors to. You
can choose your Review Summary Page, one of your platforms you have linked to
your account or any other URL you want.
In case of landing, order or cart pages, it is worth turning off the clickability of
the text, thus the visitors won’t leave your page when you are trying to sell a
product.

Email signature widget
During the configuration, you only have to add your company’s details for the signature
and select the Signature template you like the most.
In the Footer URL section, you can set where you want to redirect the visitors from your
signature.
We continuously measure the clicks - the number of visitors clicking on the review
summary section in the signature widget -, and you can see the results in the Statistics
menu. (You’ll be surprised when you see the huge number of clicks.)
Think about the number of newsletters, confirmation emails and replies your company
sends each day! And now, at the end of all these emails, your potential customers can
see your excellent reviews.
Image widgets
With the help of the image widget, you can turn your reviews into images and share them on
your social feeds.
Once you click Image widget in the menu, you will begin the configuration process. Select a
layout and style you like, then customize to your liking. You can completely personalize the
chosen review by adding a background, highlighting, altering the color and alignment as well.
On the right, you will see the preview of the image widget so you are able to see the changes in
real time.
After saving the image, a popup window will offer to share directly on your social feeds or the
option to download to your computer.
EDIT
On the summary page you can show all your reviews to your potential buyers in one
place.
This page is very useful in the case of smaller companies, because they might have less
reviews on a single platform.
Let’s see an example: you have 3 platforms with 8-12 reviews on each platform. If you
show your potential customers that you have 10 reviews on your Google page, you
won’t win their trust. You do not have to be a professional to realize that these reviews
were written by family members, friends and colleagues… Meanwhile, if you could
display a total of 30-40 reviews to your potential customers, their trust in you will
increase and you’ll have a better starting point.
In the case of smaller companies, it is worth redirecting the widget links to the review
summary page, because the more reviews you can show to your visitors, the more sales
you’ll have!
OFFERS
Here you can create offers for your review summary page – discounts, free shipping,
whatever you like – and you can even redirect your visitors to your own webpage
from your offers.
The offer will appear on your review summary page above your reviews.
SETTINGS
In Settings under the review summary page menu, you can add verified emails,
request email notifications for new reviews and choose your email delivery method.
Review Management
MANAGEMENT
Here you can see your reviews from all platforms in a chronological order. You can filter
by stars or tags. You can also add new tags here.
You can categorize your reviews by the keywords added in the tagging system.
Adding an example tag: Add -» Name: Acacia honey; Keywords: acacia honey;
Exclude words: none. This way, the software instantly filters the reviews
containing the expression “acacia honey”.
Tag setup: when configuring a widget, you have to select the “acacia honey” tag,
and you’ll only display the reviews containing the expression “acacia honey”.

In this section, you can send review invitation emails to the contacts you add. Its use is
very simple.
