Ge1101 - Engineering Practices Laboratory L T P C 0 0 3 2

This document outlines the curriculum for an engineering practices laboratory course. It is divided into four sections covering civil, mechanical, electrical, and electronics engineering practices. The civil engineering section covers plumbing components, pipe connections, carpentry joints, and high-rise plumbing systems. The mechanical engineering section includes welding, machining, sheet metal work, machine assembly demonstrations, and fitting exercises. The electrical engineering section covers residential and fluorescent lamp wiring, staircase wiring, electrical measurements, and equipment ground resistance. Finally, the electronics section focuses on electronic components, logic gates, clock signal generation, soldering, and ripple factor measurements. Students will be examined on either the civil/mechanical or electrical/electron
