SSC CGL Syllabus 2022 for Tier 2

After the preliminary exam has been conducted, it will be necessary to gear up for the Tier-2 Exam of
the SSC CGL 2022 Exam. The Mains Exam will be conducted online and is an objective multiple-choice
exam, except for Module-II (Data Entry Speed Test) of Section-III of Paper-I.

SSC CGL Tier-II Exam Pattern

Paper-I will be conducted in two sessions - Session I & Session II, on the same day and is compulsory for
all candidates who qualify in Paper 1. Session-I will include conducting Section-I, Section-II and Module-
I of Section-III. Session II will include conducting Module II of Section-III. It will be mandatory for the
candidates to qualify for all the sections of Paper-I.

SSC has revised SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern and released new syllabus which has been detailed
below-

Tier-II will include following three sections having two modules each:

Section-1: Module-I: Mathematical Abilities and Module-II: Reasoning and General Intelligence.

Section-2: Module-I: English Language and Comprehension and Module-II: General Awareness

Section-3: Module-I: Computer Knowledge Test and Module-II: Skill Test/ Typing Test

Tier-2 will be conducted in two sessions - Session- 1 & Session-2, on same day. Session-I will include
conducting of Section-1, Section-2 and Module-1 of Section-3. Session-2 will include conducting of
Module-2 of Section-3.

Tier-2 will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions, except for Module-2 of Section 3. The
questions will be set in English and Hindi except for Module-2 (i.e. English Language and Comprehension
module) in Section 2.

There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-1, Section-2 and Module-
I of Section-3.

its neighboring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic
scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research, Static GK etc. These
questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
SSC GD Constable Exam Pattern 2022 [Revised] (In Hindi & English)
As per the revised SSC GD Constable Exam pattern, the Tier 1 exam is an online, multiple-choice-based
exam.

• The exam consists of 4 sections with 80 questions in total.

• The duration for the SSC GD Constable Tier I exam is 60 minutes.

• The Computer Based Examination (CBE) is conducted in bilingual languages – English and Hindi only.

• There is a 0.50 negative marking for every incorrect answer in the SSC GD online test.

• The questions asked in the online examination will be of High School (10th) level.
