Greetings of love and peace.

The flagship reading program of the Division Office, “Sa Trumpa Mo, Makabasa Ko”: A Reading
Program Innovation is set to be administered to all Grade 1 learners for this school year. In this
regard,I am requesting permission from your good office to allow us, Grade 1 teachers to conduct the
said reading program on February 1 – April 14, 2023 to include the 43 - day lessons and the needed
pre- and post-assessments. I am also requesting permission from your good office to allow us to
conduct an orientation to the parents about the reading program on January 30, 2023.

This reading program will be done at 12:30 – 12:50 every lunch break to avoid disrupting other
classes as the audio will be played in a loudspeaker which will be heard by throughout the whole
school. This reading program will help in teaching reading in English among the grade 1 learners and
eventually develop their love for reading in English.

I am looking forward to your favorable response to this matter.
