While making dua, please read and focus on the translation and understand why you are
saying the following the words. Any dua made with complete conviction and understanding is
accepted InshaAllah!

Duas for Our Palestinian Brothers

Dua 1:
Ya Rabb (My Lord), Ya Al-Mu’Min (The Giver of Peace), Ya Al-Malik (The Sovereign), Ya Al-Rahim (The
Merciful), Ya Al-Darr (The Afflictor), Ya Al-Muhaymin (The Protector)…

Ya Allah who knows the best of all his names, please help our Palestinian brothers and sisters . Ya
Al-Mu’Min if they can not have peace on this earth then grant them peace in their hearts on the
battlefield and grant them the loftiest of peace in the hereafter . Ya Allah Al- Aziz (The Almighty), Ya
Allah Al-Mu’izz (The Honourer), Honor them with the highest of Honors. Ya Al-Adl (The Just), bring
justice to the oppressed . Send them thousands of angels to help them, and send those who fear none
but you. Ya Al-Halim (The All-Clement), pardon our mistakes and disobedience to you for you are
Al-Tawwab The Acceptor of Repentance) . Ya Al- Hafiz (The Guardian), please guide those oppressors,
soften their hearts to Islam and Ya Al-Wakil (The Trustee), if guidance is not written for them, then
protect us Al-Waliyy (The protector) in every way from them . Give those suffering, strength, patience,
and jennah for this trial is great. If they die let it be with li illiah hi il lallah on their lips. Ameen .

Duas for Forgiveness

Dua 1:

‫ف َع ِّني‬ ْ ‫ِب ا ْل َع ْف َو َف‬

ُ ‫اع‬ ُّ ‫ال َّل ُه َّم ِإ َّن َك َعفُ ٌّو ُتح‬

Transliteration :
Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni

Translation :
O Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me

Dua 2:
Í
‫س ِّيَئ ا ِت َنا َو َت َو َّف َنا َم َع اَأْل ْب َر ِار‬
َ ‫اغف ِْر َل َنا ُذ ُنو َب َنا َو َك ِّف ْر َع َّنا‬
ْ ‫َر َّب َنا َف‬

Transliteration :
Rabbanaa faghfir lana thunoobana wa kaffir ‘anna sayyiaatinaa wa tawaffanaa ma ‘al abraar.
Translation :
Our Lord! Forgive our sins and efface our bad deeds and take our souls in the company of the
righteous

Dua 3:

ٰ
‫ص َن ْعتُ َأ ُب ْو ُء َل َك ِبن ِْع َم ِت َك َع َل َّي َوَأ ُب ْو ُء‬ َ ‫ش ِّر َما‬ ْ ‫اَل ّل ُه َّم َأنْتَ َر ِّب ْي اَل ِإ ٰل َه ِإاَّل َأنْتَ َخ َل ْق َتن ِْي َوَأ َنا َع ْب ُد َك َوَأ َنا َع ٰلی َع ْه ِد َك َو َو ْع ِد َك َما‬
َ ْ‫اس َت َط ْعتُ َأ ُع ْو ُذ ِب َك مِن‬
َ‫اغف ِْر ل ِْي َفِإ َّن ٗه الَ َي ْغفِ ُر ال ُّذ ُن ْو َب ِإاَّل َأنْت‬
ْ ‫َل َك ِب َذ ْن ِب ْي َف‬

Transliteration:

Allahumma anta rabbee la ilaha illa ant, khalaqtanee wa-ana ‘abduk, wa-ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wawa‘dika
mas-tata‘t, a‘oothu bika min sharri ma sana‘t, aboo-o laka bini‘matika ‘alay, wa-aboo-o laka bithanbee,
faghfir lee fa-innahu la yaghfiruth-thunooba illa ant.

Translation:
“O Allah! You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, you created me and I am
You servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can. I acknowledge Your favor upon
me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You, I take refuge
in You from the evil of which I committed.”\

Dua 4:

‫هّٰللا‬
ُ ‫ِي اَل ِإ ٰل َه ِإاَّل ه َُو ا ْل َح ُّي ا ْل َق ُّي ْو ُم َوَأ ُت ْو‬
‫ب ِإ َل ْي ِه‬ ْ ‫َأ ْس َت ْغفِ ُر َ ا َّلذ‬

Transliteration:
Astaghfir ullah-alladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Haiyul-Qayyumu, wa atubu ilaihi.

Transaltion :
I seek the forgiveness of Allah, there is no true god except Allah, the Ever-Living, the Self- Subsisting,
and I turn to Him in repentance.

Dua 5:

َ‫س ل ِْي ِبهٖ عِ ْل ٌم ۭ َو ِااَّل َت ْغف ِْر ل ِْي َو َت ْر َح ْمن ِْٓي اَ ُكنْ مِّنَ ا ْل ٰخسِ ِريْن‬
َ ‫َر ِّب ِا ِّن ْٓى اَ ُع ْو ُذ ِب َك اَنْ اَ ْســـَٔـ َل َك َما َل ْي‬

Transliteration :
Rabbi Inneee A-o’od’u Bika An As-alaka Maa Laysa Lee Bihee I’lm Wa Illaa Taghfirlee Wa
Tarh’amneee Akum Minal Khaasireen

Translation :
O my Lord! I seek refuge with You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless
You forgive me and have Mercy on me, I would indeed be one of the losers

Duas for Tranquility

Dua 1:
‫اللهم أعني على ذكرك وشكرك وحسن عبادتك‬
Transliteration :
 "Allahumma a'inni ala
dhikrika, wa shukrika, wa husni 'ibadatika
Translation :
O Allah, help me remember You, to be grateful to You, and to worship You in an excellent manner

Dua 2:
O Allah! Open for me the doors of Jannah, and lock the doors of Jahannam from me, help me
to recite the Quran, O the One who sends down tranquility into the hearts of believers

Dua 3:
‫ار َف ْعنِي‬
ْ ‫ َو‬،‫ار ُز ْقنِي‬
ْ ‫ َو‬،‫ َو َعافِنِي‬،‫اج ُب ْرنِي‬
ْ ‫ َو‬،‫ َواهْ ِدنِي‬،‫ار َح ْمنِي‬ ْ ‫ال َّل ُه َّم‬
ْ ‫ َو‬،‫اغف ِْر لِي‬

Transliteration :
Allaahum-maghfir lee, warhamnee, wahdinee, waj allburnee, wa 'aafinee, warzuqnee, warfa'nee

Translation :
O Allah forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, support me, protect me, provide for me and
elevate me

Dua 4:

‫الغـفُو ُر‬
َ ‫اب‬ُ ‫ ِإ َّن َك َأنْـتَ ال َّت ّـو‬،‫ـي‬
َّ ‫ َو ُت ْب َع َل‬،‫اغف ِْـر لي‬
ْ ‫َر ِّب‬

Transliteration :
Rabbighfir lee wa tub 'alayya 'innaka 'Antat-Tawwaabul-Ghafoor

Translation :
My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance, You are the Ever-Relenting, the All-Forgiving

Dua 5:

O Allah, give me complete satisfaction in knowing that my heart will only find it’s peace by accepting
what you have planned for me without a streak of doubt that your plan is indeed the best of the plans!

Dua 6:
O Allah, make yourself the centre of my heart, embed your love in the core of my heart and make me
realise that everything else given to me is an amanah/gift from you - so when and if something is
taken away from me by your will and supreme plan, i can find sabr/peace and happiness in knowing
and accepting that I have returned the Amanah back to it’s true belonger/creator

Dua 7:
O Allah, make me content with what i have and make me give from whatever little i have - O Allah,
protect me from poverty and save me from ever becoming a taker rather than a giver.
Duas for Depression or Distress

Dua 1:

ُ َ‫آَل ِإ ٰل َه ِإآَّل َأنْت‬

َّ َ‫س ْب َحا َن َك ِإ ِّن ْي ُكنْتُ مِن‬
َ‫الظالِ ِميْن‬

Transliteration : la ilaha illa anta subhanaka innee kuntu mina aththalimeen

Translation : And he called out within the darknesses, “There is no deity except You; exalted are You.
Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.”

Dua 2:
-‫َيا َح ُّي َيا َق ُّي ْو ُم ِب َر ْح َم ِت َك َأ ْس َت ِغ ْيث‬

Transliteration: Ya Hayyu ya Qayyoomu, bi raHmatika astagheeth[u]

Translation: Oh Living, oh Sustainer, in your mercy I plead for rescue.

Dua 3:
‫ال‬ ِّ ‫ض َل ِع الدَّ ْي ِن َو َغ َل َب ِة‬
ِ ‫الر َج‬ َ ‫ال َّل ُه َّم ِإ ِّني َأ ُعو ُذ ِب َك مِنْ ا ْل َه ِّم َوا ْل ُح ْز ِن َوا ْل َع ْج ِز َوا ْل َك‬
َ ‫س ِل َوا ْل ُب ْخ ِل َوا ْل ُج ْب ِن َو‬

Transliteration : Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-hammi wal-Ḥuzni wal-‘ajazi wal-kasli wal-bukhli
wal-jubni wa ḍala’id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijal.

Translation : O Allah, I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness,
miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being overpowered by men

Dua 4:
Ya Allah, rid my heart of self doubt, insecurities, jealousy, hatred and make me not a procrastinator

Dua 5:
Ya Allah, take away any sadness, depression, anxiety from my heart and fill it with gratefulness and
content.

Dua 6:
O Allah, Protect me from the whispers of shaitan that make my heart fill up with doubt and misery.
Save me from judging other people without realising my own mistakes.

Dua 7:

Ya Allah, save me from overthinking, overanalyzing and being overly critical of myself and those
around me. Ya Allah, let me not forego moments of happiness by continuously finding faults in them!

Duas for protection against illness

Dua 1:
‫سيِّْئ اَأْل ْس َق ِام‬
َ ْ‫ون َوا ْل ُج َذ ِام َومِن‬ ِ ‫ال َّل ُه َّم ِإ ِّني َأ ُعو ُذ ِب َك مِنْ ا ْل َب َر‬
ِ ‫ص َوا ْل ُج ُن‬

Transliteration :
Allahumma inni a‘oothu bika min al-baras, wal-junoon, wal-juthaam, wa sayyi’il-asqaam
Translation :
Oh Allah, I seek refuge in you from vitiligo, madness, leprosy and all major illnesses.

Dua 2:
‫ال َّل ُه َّم ِإ ِّني َأ ْسَألُ َك ا ْل َع ْف َو َوا ْل َعافِ َي َة فِي ال ُّد ْن َيا َواآلخ َِر ِة‬

Transliteration :
Allahumma inni as’alukal-’afwa wal ‘afiyah fid-dunya wal-akhirah

Translation :
O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness and my well-being in this world and the Hereafter

Note: Afiyah means any good that Allah can give you. It can be good health, good fortune, a good
spouse, good children. While making this dua really focus on the meaning of Affiyah and with the
truest of heart,BEG Allah for HIS aafiyah as only Allah knows what is TRULY good for you and what
HE has planned for you is the best of the best.

Dua 3:
Ya Allah, grant me the will to take care of my body and soul and treat it as a gift from you and let me
not disrespect my body by following unhealthy routines or an unhealthy lifestyle.

Dua 4:
O Allah, my body and my health are both a gift from you - protect them from any harm and make me
not be my enemy by harming myself through ways that are not of the believers.

Dua 5:
Ya Allah, save my body and my mind from any addictions.

Duas for protection against evil eye

Dua 1:

‫ُْأ‬
‫ َوَأ ُعو ُذ ِب َع َظ َم ِت َك َأن ْغ َتال َ مِنْ َت ْحتِي‬,‫ َو َعنْ شِ َمالِي َومِنْ َف ْوقِي‬,‫ َو َعنْ َيمِينِي‬,‫ َومِنْ َخ ْلفِي‬,‫ي‬ ِ ‫اح َف ْظنِي مِنْ َب‬
َّ َ‫ين يَد‬ ْ ‫ال َّل ُه َّم‬

Transliteration :
Allahummah-fazni min baini yadaiya, wa min khalfi, wa ‘an yameeni, wa ‘an syimali wa min fauqi, wa
a’uzu bi’azomatika an ughtala min tahti

Translation :
O Allah protect me from my front, behind me, from my right and my left, and from above me, and I
seek refuge in Your Magnificence from being taken unaware from beneath me

Dua 2:
َ ِّ ‫ت هَّللا ِ ال َّتا َّم ِة مِنْ ُكل‬
ِ ‫ش ْي َط‬
‫ َو مِنْ ُكل ِّ َع ْينٍال َّم ٍة‬، ‫ان َو هَا َّم ِة‬ ِ ‫ُأعِ و ُذ ُك َما ِب َكلِ َما‬
Transliteration :
U’idhukuma bikalimatil lahit-tammah, min kulli shaytanin wahammah, wa min kulli ‘ayinin lammah

Translation :
I seek refuge for you in the perfect words of Allah, from every devil and every poisonous reptile, and
from every bad eye

Dua 3:
O Allah, save me from all kinds of jealousy, all kinds of evil and all kinds of hate. Ya Allah, let people
see the good in me but not be jealous or envious of it and let me see the good in people without being
jealous or envious.

Dua 4:
Ya Allah, you are the only protector. Protect me from ill intentioned people and those whose company
will distract me from your remembrance.

Dua for Tawakkul in Allah

Dua 1:
َ‫الكفِرين‬ ِ ُ ‫برا َو َث ِّبت َأقدا َمنا َوان‬
ٰ ‫صرنا َع َلى ال َقوم‬ ً ‫ص‬ ِ ‫َر َّبنا َأ‬
َ ‫فرغ َع َلينا‬
Transliteration :
Rabbana afrigh AAalayna sabran wathabbit aqdamana
waonsurna AAala alqawmi alkafireen

Translation :
'' Our Lord, pour down upon us patience,
and make our steps firm
and assist us against the unbelieving people’'

Dua 2:
ُ ‫َح ْس ُب َنا هَّللا ُ َون ِْع َم ا ْل َوكِيل‬

Transliteration :
HasbunAllahu Wa Ni'imal Wakeel

Translation :
Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us).”

Dua 3:

‫حسبى هللا ال إله إال هو عليه توكلت وهو رب العرش العظيم‬

Transliteration :
Hasbi Allahu La Ilaaha illaa hua alaihi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabbul arshil azeem

Translation
Allah is sufficient for me, there is no Deity except Him. I place my trust in Him and He is the Rabb of
the great throne

Note: These two duas are the declaration of the Oneness of Allah. When we declare that there is NO
GOD but Allah, we are accepting the fact that NONE other than him is worthy of being worshiped or
being asked from. This ensures that we understand that NO other entity ( no Peer, no maulana, no
dead person) can listen to or respond to our duas and the best of the best DUA is the one made from
a pure heart by us straight to ALLAH without anyone as a middleman. A life free of shirk is what we
should aim for and what we should live in order to enter Jannah!

Dua 4:
O Allah, make me submit to your will and grant my heart peace knowing that you are the best of
planners and i know not what you know

Duas for Wealth and Happiness

Dua 1:

ً‫ َو َع َمالً ُم َت َق َّبال‬, ‫ َو ِر ْز ًقا َط َّي ًبا‬, ‫اَل َّل ُه َّم ِإ ِّني َأ ْسَألُ َك عِ ْل ًما َنافِ ًعا‬

Transliteration :
‘Allahumma inni as’aluka ‘ilman nafi’an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan

Translation :
(O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision, and acceptable deeds).’

Dua 2:
Ya Allah, make me from those who happily give sadqah ( even the smallest) in your way and let no
one close to me sleep hungry while i sleep with a full stomach

Dua 3:
Ya Allah, may i never become a taker, save me from ever having to spread my hands to ask from
anyone other than You , Ya Allah save me from hunger, from poverty and from greed
Ya Allah , grant me wealth so i can share, health so i can serve and happiness so I can spread
positivity

Duas for Parents and Siblings

Dua 1:
‫ِيرا‬
ً ‫صغ‬َ ‫ار َح ْم ُه َما َك َما َر َّب َيانِي‬
ْ ‫َّر ِّب‬
Transliteration :
Rabbi irhamhuma kama rabbayani sagheera
Translation :
My Lord, have mercy upon them (parents) as they brought me up [when i was] small.

Dua 2:
My Lord, give my parents good health in their old age and save them from any harm
Ya Allah, make me the coolness of my parents eyes and help me be a sadqae jariyah for them when
they move on to the afterlife
Ya Allah, forgive my parents for every known and unknown sin they have committed
Ya Allah, may my parents never hesitate to ask me for help like i never did when i was small
Ya Allah , may i always be present for my parents at the time of their need
Ya Allah , may my spouse also respect and love my parents and may i never have to choose between
the both
Ya Allah, give me the honor of taking care of my parents when they are weak and fragile
Ya Allah, put in my heart respect for my parents even when we differ in opinion
Ya Allah, forgive me if I hurt my parents and give me hidayah
Ya Allah, make my parents righteous, forgive their sins, accept their prayers and give them jannah
Ya Allah, save my parents from bad health, weakness, poverty and make me not a test for them.
Ya Allah, help me realise that no matter how high I hold my parents in regard, that ultimately they are
human and are allowed to make mistakes and bad choices.
Ya Allah, help me heal from any mistakes of my parents while keeping my heart open and
understanding of their intention and goodness.
Ya Allah, at any point, if i don't have a good relationship with parents or if they hurt me through their
actions : help me forgive them and help me heal.

Dua 3:

O Allah, make my bond with my siblings strong and may we never drift apart
O Allah, may jealousy and hatred never make it’s place between my relationship with my siblings
O Allah, grant my siblings good health, wealth, happiness and may they never suffer because of me
O Allah, make me a waseelah to help my siblings in time of difficulty and make me available for them
in times of need
Ya Allah, grant my siblings righteous spouses and children.

Duas for Gratefulness :

Dua 1:
ْ ‫ضاهُ َوَأ‬
َ‫صل ِْح لِي فِي ُذ ِّر َّيتِي ۖ ِإ ِّني ُت ْبتُ ِإ َل ْي َك َوِإ ِّني مِنَ ا ْل ُم ْسلِمِين‬ َ ‫صال ًِحا َت ْر‬ َّ َ‫ش ُك َر ن ِْع َم َت َك ا َّلتِي َأ ْن َع ْمتَ َع َل َّي َو َع َل ٰى َوالِد‬
َ َ ‫ي َوَأنْ َأ ْع َمل‬ ْ ‫َر ِّب َأ ْو ِز ْعنِي َأنْ َأ‬

Transliteration :
Rabbi awzi'nee an ashkura ni'mataka allatee anAAamta AAalayya waAAalawalidayya waan aAAmala
salihan tardahuwaaslih lee fee thurriyyatee innee tubtuilayka wa-innee mina almuslimeen
Translation :
My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my
parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring.
Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims.

Dua 2:
ْ ‫س ْب َحا َن َك ال َّل ُه َّم َر َّب َنا َو ِب َح ْم ِد َك ال َّل ُه َّم‬
‫اغف ِْر لِي‬ ُ

Transliteration :
Subhaanaka Allaahumma Rabbanaa wa bihamdika Allaahum-maghfir lee
Translation :
Glory is to You , O Allah , our Lord , and praise is Yours . O Allah , forgive me.

Dua 3:
‫وي‬ َ ‫هلل ا َّلذِي َأ ْط َع َم َنا َو‬
َ ‫ َف َك ْم ِممَّنْ اَل َكاف َِي َل ُه َواَل ُمْؤ‬،‫ َو َآوا َنا‬،‫ َو َك َفا َنا‬،‫س َقا َنا‬ ِ ‫ا ْل َح ْم ُد‬

Transliteration :
Alhamdu lillaahil-lathee 'at'amanaa wa saqaanaa, wa kafaanaa, wa 'aawaanaa, fakam mimman laa
kaafiya lahu wa laa mu'wiya

Translation :
Praise is to Allah Who has provided us with food and with drink, sufficed us and gave us an abode for
how many are there with no provision and no home

Dua for staying steadfast in relationships

Dua 1:

‫اركْ َل َنا فِي‬ ِ ‫ِش َما َظ َه َر ِم ْن َها َو َما َب َطنَ َو َب‬ َ ‫ور َو َج ِّن ْب َنا ا ْل َف َواح‬ ِ ‫الساَل ِم َو َن ِّج َنا مِنْ ال ُّظلُ َما‬
ِ ‫ت ِإ َلى ال ُّن‬ َّ َ ‫س ُبل‬ ُ ‫صل ِْح َذاتَ َب ْي ِن َنا َواهْ ِد َنا‬ ْ ‫وب َنا َوَأ‬
ِ ُ‫ف َبيْنَ قُل‬ ْ ‫ال َّل ُه َّم َأ ِّل‬
‫ابلِي َها َوَأ ِت َّم َها َع َل ْي َنا‬
ِ ‫شاك ِِرينَ لِن ِْع َم ِت َك ُم ْثنِينَ ِب َها َق‬
َ ‫اج َع ْل َنا‬ ْ ‫الرحِي ُم َو‬َّ ‫اب‬ُ ‫وب َنا َوَأ ْز َوا ِج َنا َو ُذ ِّر َّيا ِت َنا َو ُت ْب َع َل ْي َنا ِإ َّن َك َأنْتَ ال َّت َّو‬
ِ ُ‫ار َنا َوقُل‬
ِ ‫ص‬َ ‫َأ ْس َماعِ َنا َوَأ ْب‬

Translation :
O Allah, bring our hearts together, reconcile between us, guide us to ways of peace, and deliver us
from darkness into light. Keep us away from immorality, outwardly and inwardly, and bless us in our
hearing, our seeing, our hearts, our spouses, and our children. Accept our repentance, for you alone
are the Relenting, the Merciful. Make us grateful for your blessings, praising and accepting them, and
give them to us in full.”

Dua 2:

‫َر َّب َنا َهبْ َل َنا مِنْ اَ ْز َوا ِج َنا َو ُذرِّ يَّا ِت َنا قُرَّ َة اَعْ ي ٍُن وَّ اجْ َع ْل َنا ل ِْل ُم َّت ِقي َْن ِا َمامًا‬
Transliteration:
RABBANAA HAB LANAA MIN AZWAAJENAA WA ZURRIYYAATENAA QURRATA
A-AYONIWN WAJ-ALNAA LIL-MUTTAQEENA EMAAMAA.

Translation:
O our Lord! Grant us from our wives and our offsprings, the joy of our eyes, and make us for
the pious ones.[6]

Dua 4:
O Allah, make my relationships strong, full of trust and honesty and save me from ever doing any
khayanat in my relationships

Dua 5:
O Allah, save my relationship with my spouse from any evil eyes, jealousy, doubt or mistrust
O Allah, save me from ever disrespecting my spouse, make me forgive their mistakes and put in my
heart immense love for him/her. O Allah, may i always remember that my spouse is a human and can
make mistakes, O Allah, may i never hold my spouse responsible for any misfortune that comes my
way
O Allah, make me and my spouse loyal to each other till death
O Allah, May we always have empathy for each other in hearts and may doubt or misunderstandings
NEVER cause that empathy to go away
O Allah, make me my spouse’s best friend, may they always think of me during happiness and in
sadness and may I always be available for my spouse in time of need
O Allah, make my house a happy place, where love flourishes, arguments are resolved and where my
children can learn good habits and build a strong foundation
O Allah, make my relationship such with my spouse that when my children grow up, they remember
the relationship with fondness and not with regret

Dua for Ease

Dua 1:
َ َ‫الحزنَ إذا شِ ْئت‬
‫س ْهال‬ َ ‫س ْهل َ إال َما َج َعل َت ُه‬
ْ ُ ‫س ْهال َو أنتَ َت ْج َعل‬ َ ‫الل ُه َّم ال‬

Transliteration :
Allahum’;/ma la sahla illa ma ja`altahu sahla wa anta taj`al ul-hazna idha shi’ta sahla.

Translation :
O Allah! There is nothing easy except that which You make easy; and You make the difficult, if You
wish, easy

Dua 2:
َ ‫َر ِّب ِإ ِّنى لِ َمٓا َأ‬
‫نز ْلتَ ِإ َل َّى مِنْ َخ ْي ۢ ٍر َفقِي ۭ ٌر‬

Transliteration:
Rabbi inni limaa anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeer

Translation:
My Lord, I am in absolute need of the good You send me.

Dua for Easy Reckoning,Torment of Grave and Day of Judgement

Dua 1:
‫ َو َعافِ َنا َق ْبل َ َذلِ َك‬، ‫ َوال ُت ْهل ِْك َنا ِب َع َذ ِاب َك‬، ‫ض ِب َك‬
َ ‫ال َّل ُه َّم ال َت ْق ُت ْل َنا ِب َغ‬

Transliteration:
Allahumma la taqtulna bi gadhabik wa la tuhlikna bi adhabic wa'aafina qabla dhalik

Translation :
O Allah, don't end our lives with Your wrath, and do not make us perish with Your punishment, and
forgive us before that.

Dua 2:
‫ال‬ ِ ِ‫ش ِّر فِ ْت َن ِة ا ْل َمس‬
ِ ‫يح الدَّ َّج‬ َ ْ‫ َومِن‬،ِ‫ َومِنْ فِ ْت َن ِة ا ْل َم ْح َيا َوا ْل َم َمات‬،‫ب َج َه َّن َم‬ ِ ‫ال َّل ُه َّم ِإ ِّني َأ ُعو ُذ ِب َك مِنْ َع َذا‬
ِ ‫ َومِنْ َع َذا‬،‫ب ا ْل َق ْب ِر‬

Transliteration :
Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oothu bika min 'athaabil-qabri, wa min 'athaabi jahannama, wa min
fitnatil-mahyaa walmamaati,wa min sharri fitnatil-maseehid-dajjaal.

Translation :
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of Hell-fire,
and from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah.

Dua 3:
‫س َخطِ َك‬ ِ ‫ َو َجم‬،َ‫اء ِة ِن ْق َم ِتك‬
َ ‫ِيع‬ ِ ‫ال َّل ُه َّم ِإ ِّني َأ ُعو ُذ ِب َك مِنْ َز َو‬
َ ‫ َوفُ َج‬،َ‫ َو َت َح ُّو ِل َعافِ َي ِتك‬،َ‫ال ن ِْع َم ِتك‬

Transliteration :
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matika, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatika, wa fuja'ati niqmatika, wa
jami'i sakhatika

Translation :
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the decline of Your blessings, the removal of your safety, the
sudden onset of Your punishment, and from all that displeases you.

Dua 4:
َ ‫س َن ًة َوقِنا َع‬
ِ ‫ذاب ال ّن‬
‫ار‬ َ ‫س َن ًة َوفِى الءاخ َِر ِة َح‬
َ ‫َر َّبنا ءاتِنا فِى الدُّنيا َح‬

Transliteration:
Rabbana aatina fiddunya hasanatan wa fil aakhirati
hasanatan waqina azaabannaar

Translation :
Our Lord ! grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter and save us from the torment of the
Fire ‘

Duas for ALLAH’s MERCY and HELP

Dua 1:
َ ‫َر َّب َنا آ ِت َنا مِن َّلدُن َك َر ْح َم ًة َو َهيِّْئ َل َنا مِنْ َأ ْم ِر َنا َر‬
‫شدًا‬

Transliteration :
Rabbanā ātinā min ladunka raḥmatan wahayyi lanā min amrinā rashada

Translation :
Our Lord! Grant us from Yourself Mercy, and facilitate for us [from] our affair (in the) right way.

Dua 2:
َ‫ال َّل ُه َّم اهْ ِدنِي فِي َمنْ هَدَ ْيت‬
َ‫َو َعافِنِي فِي َمنْ َعا َف ْيت‬
َ‫َو َت َو َّلنِي فِي َمنْ َت َو َّل ْيت‬
َ‫اركْ لِي فِي َما َأ ْع َط ْيت‬ ِ ‫َو َب‬
َ‫ض ْيت‬ َ ‫ش َّر َما َق‬ َ ‫َوقِنِي‬
‫ضى َع َل ْي َك‬ َ ‫ِإ َّن َك َت ْقضِ ي َوالَ ُي ْق‬
َ‫َوِإ َّن ُه الَ َي ِذل ُّ َمنْ َوا َل ْيت‬
َ‫َوالَ َيع ُِّز َمنْ َعادَ ْيت‬
َ‫ار ْكتَ َر َّب َنا َو َت َعا َل ْيت‬
َ ‫َت َب‬
Transliteration :
Allahummahdini fiman hadait, wa a'fini fiman afait, wa tawallani fiman tawallait, wa
barik lana fima atait, wa qinaa sharra ma qadait, fa Innaka taqdi bil-haqqi wa la yuqda
Alaik, wa innahu la yadhillu man waalait, wa laa ya’izzo man aadayt tabarakta
Rabbana wa ta'alait

Translation :
O Allah, guide us along with those whom You have guided, pardon us along with those whom You
have pardoned, be an ally to us along with those whom You are an ally to and bless for us that which
You have bestowed. Protect us from the evil You have decreed for verily You decree and none can
decree over You. For surely, he whom You show loyalty to is never humiliated and he whom You take
as an enemy is never honored and mighty. O our Lord, Blessed and Exalted are You

Dua 3:

‫ص ًرا َك َما َح َم ْل َتهُۥ َع َلى ٱ َّلذِينَ مِن َق ْبلِ َنا ۚ َر َّب َنا َواَل ُت َح ِّم ْل َنا َما اَل‬ْ ‫َر َّب َنا اَل ُتَؤ اخ ِْذ َنٓا ِإن َّنسِ ي َنٓا َأ ْو َأ ْخ َطْأ َنا ۚ َر َّب َنا َواَل َت ْح ِملْ َع َل ْي َنٓا ِإ‬
َ‫ص ْر َنا َع َلى ٱ ْل َق ْو ِم ٱ ْل ٰ َكف ِِرين‬ُ ‫ٱر َح ْم َنٓا ۚ َأنتَ َم ْو َل ٰى َنا َفٱن‬
ْ ‫ٱغف ِْر َل َنا َو‬
ْ ‫ف َع َّنا َو‬ ْ ‫َطا َق َة َل َنا ِبهِۦ ۖ َو‬
ُ ‫ٱع‬

Transliteration:
Rabbanaa laa tu’aakhiznaaa in naseenaaa aw akhtaanaa; Rabbanaa wa laa tahmil-‘alainaaa isran
kamaa hamaltahoo ‘alal-lazeena min qablinaa; Rabbanaa wa laa tuhammilnaa maa laa taaqata lanaa
bih; wa’fu ‘annaa waghfir lanaa warhamnaa; Anta mawlaanaa fansurnaa ‘alal qawmil kaafireen

Trsnslation :
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a
burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we
have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our
protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people

Dua Of a Parent for their Children

Oh Allah, I realize that parenting a child is a very difficult task and I turn to You in humility for Your
help.

Oh Allah, I know that our children are an amaana (a trust) from You, to care for and to raise in a
manner that is pleasing to You.

Oh Allah, teach me how to love in a way that You would have me love.

Oh Allah, help me walk in righteousness and integrity so that You may always be pleased with me.
Oh Allah, allow me to be a God-fearing role model with all the communication, teaching, and nurturing
skills that I may need.

Oh Allah, You know what our children need. Help and guide us in praying for our children.
Oh Allah, put a hedge of safety around our children. Protect their bodies, minds, and emotions from
any kind of evil and harm.

Oh Allah, I pray that You protect them from accidents, diseases, injuries, and any other physical,
mental, or emotional afflictions and abuse.

Oh Allah, I pray that You keep our children free from any addictions and vices.

Oh Allah, grant them the best of company as their friends — people who will inspire them to love and
worship and obey You.

Oh Allah, grant our children hidaaya (guidance) and hearts that love to obey You.

Oh Allah, shine Your light on any secret or unseen rebellion in their hearts and destroy it before it
takes root.

Oh Allah, guide them away from any pride, selfishness, jealousy, hypocrisy, malice, and greed and
make them uncomfortable with sins.

Oh Allah, make apparent to them the truth in any situation and let them not be misled by falsehood.

Oh Allah, grant our children the ability to make clear decisions and let them always be attracted to
good things that are pure, noble, true, and just.

Oh Allah, grant them the wisdom to choose their words carefully and bless them with generous and
caring spirits.

Oh Allah, I pray that they never stray from the path of deen (religion) and that You give them futures
filled with Your best promises.

Oh Allah, always keep our children cleansed and pure from evil and shaytaan (Satan).

Oh Allah, keep them steadfast in establishing salaah (prayer) and help them revere the Glorious
Quran as Your Word and Law and to read it with understanding daily. Let it be their source of light and
guidance.

Oh Allah, lead them to a position where they rely truly on Your power alone and fear You in the open
and in secret.

Oh Allah, make them so strong in their deen that they never encounter doubt.

Oh Allah, do not allow any negativity, cynicism, or pessimism in our children’s lives. Let them always
have a positive, hopeful, and optimistic attitude towards You and Your Will
Oh Allah, guide our children in honoring and obeying You, Your Rasool/Messenger (peace be upon
him), and us as parents (when we are commanding that which is pleasing to You).

Oh Allah, make them the coolness of our eyes.

Oh Allah, fill our children with compassion and caring that will overflow to each member of our family.

Oh Allah, please protect them from ’ayn/nazar/evil eye (malicious jealousy).

Oh Allah, help them love, value, appreciate, and respect one another with good communication
between them always

Oh Allah, I pray there be no strain, breach, misunderstanding, arguing, fighting, or severing of ties.

Oh Allah, allow them to one day marry righteous, God-fearing, kind, hard-working, intelligent,
beautiful, healthy spouses who get along with and respect and love (and genuinely enjoy) every
member of our family and who lead our children (i.e. their spouses) even closer to You and Jannat ul
Firdaus (the Highest Station of Paradise).

Oh Allah, allow them to one day be the best spouses and the best additions to their in-laws’ families.

Oh Allah, please don’t let me become self-satisfied and arrogant in my parenting, but please don’t
humble me or shame me through my children’s misdeeds either. Please let me always give credit for
their good character to You and please don’t ever let me stop praying for them.

Oh Allah, protect my children from debt. Make them givers and not takers.

Oh Allah, grant my children noble professions with halal (permissible) incomes that give them respect
and dignity in Your Eyes and in the eyes of their fellow human beings.

Oh Allah, grant them worldly comfort so that my children can come to You through the Door of
Gratitude and so that they are not forced to come to You through the Door of Patience. Please let
them always be grateful…and patient.

Oh Allah, I pray for a close, loving, happy, and fulfilling relationship with them for all the days of our
lives and to be reunited with them in Jannat ul Firdaus

Oh Allah, if at any moment, you decide to teach me a lesson or bring me closer to yourself through a
'trial' or azmaish, please never choose my children to serve that purpose. Never test me through
them, never have my sins reflect on the lives of my children

DUAS upon End of Ramadan

Dua for the acceptance of our worship

Oh Allah, accept my efforts during this month, all of my prayers and fasts, and allow them to weigh
heavily on the scales of good.

Dua for sincerity in our worship

Oh Allah, purify my intentions and put sincerity in my worship of You.

Dua for retaining the good habits learned in Ramadan

Oh Allah, aid me in becoming righteous, grant me Taqwa so that I may continue the good habits
beyond the month of Ramadan.

Dua for the next Ramadan

Oh Allah, guide me and my family and grant us health so that we may witness another Ramadan.
Dua for the blessings of Eid

Oh Allah! Allow us to witness the blessings of Eid, to unite us to partake in worship of you, to bless us
with joy that we can share with our friends, families, and neighbors.

DUA FOR THE DEPARTED SOULS

Oh Allah! Forgive and have mercy upon their souls, beautify their deeds, forgive their misdeeds,
protect them from the punishment of the grave, give their families strength and patience, grant them
entry into the highest level of Jannah and make them amongst the best of our Ummah.

Oh Allah! If the departed had children, make their children the best Sadqae Jaariyah for them

DUA FOR THE END OF PANDEMIC

Oh Allah! Alleviate the pain of all those experiencing the trauma of this virus , give us the strength to
bear to it’s consequences and remain steadfast in our tawakkul that death will come upon it’s
appointed time .Oh Allah, save our loved ones from falling prey to this illness and let us be together in
spirit

DUA FOR THE AFTERLIFE

Oh Allah! Guide me on the straight path, make me among those who struggle for Your sake,
protection from the Fire and build for me near You a house in paradise.
