Arjuna’s reasons for not
wanting to fight the war :

● Compassion towards all.


● No possibility of enjoyment with relatives even in victory.
● Fear of sinful reactions.
● Decadence of society due to mass slaughter of men.

Kali-yuge Chaitanya-nama prabhuh

"The Supreme Personality of Godhead who in the Satya-Yuga appeared as a half-man,


half-lion to cure a terrible disease that had ravaged the daityas, and who in the
Treta-Yuga appeared as a person named Rama [Lord Ramachandra] , the person who
defeated the ten-headed Demon Ravana, and who in the Dvapara-Yuga removed the
earth's burden, and protected the Gopa [cowherd men] people of Vraja-pura, will
appear again in the Kali-Yuga. His form will be golden, He will delight in chanting the
Lord's holy names, and His name will be Chaitanya."
ASTROLOGY AND ATTRIBUTES

● CC Ādi 14.12 — When Jagannātha Miśra saw the wonderful marks on


the sole of his son, he became very joyful and privately called for
Nīlāmbara Cakravartī.

● CC Ādi 14.13 — When Nīlāmbara Cakravartī saw those marks, he


smilingly said, “Formerly I ascertained all this by astrological calculation
and noted it in writing.

● CC Ādi 14.15 — “ ‘There are thirty-two bodily symptoms of a great


personality: five of his bodily parts are large, five fine, seven reddish, six
raised, three small, three broad and three grave.’

● CC Ādi 14.16 — “This baby has all the symptoms of Lord Nārāyaṇa on


His palms and soles. He will be able to deliver all the three worlds.
FOLLOWING ACHARYAS- VISHNU

ei saba guṇa lañā muni vaiśampāyana


sahasra-nāme kaila tāṅra nāma-gaṇana
Recording all these qualities of Lord Caitanya, the sage Vaiśampāyana
included His name in the Viṣṇu-sahasra-nāma.
