Lesson Objective(s): At the end of the lesson the students will be able to learn about:
1: the sources of light.
2: the uses of light.
Skills Focused on: understanding, listening and speaking skills.
Resources: Textbook, flash cards, multimedia (if available)

Methodology:
(a) Prior Knowledge: (Brainstorming, Mind Mapping, etc.)

To grab the attention of the students the teacher will ask some questions from the students like:
1: Do you know what is light?
2: Can you see without light easily?
3: How many sources are there?
4: What do you understand by natural and man-made sources of light?
After getting different responses from the students the teacher will announce the topic that today
we are going to revise unit#7 “ Light”.
(b) Explanation: ( Based on Cross- Curricular Links)
Now here the teacher will recap the unit by telling the students that light is a form of energy
which enables us to see everything around us. Light comes from various sources which means
something that provide or gives out light. Then she will told them that there are two sources of
light “Natural” and “Man-made”. Objects from nature that provide us light are called natural
resources of light like sun, star, moon or other animals like star fish etc. Candles, tube-light,
torches are human-made sources of light. Then she will explain that we can use light to see
everything. It helps plants to grow, make their food as well. We can use light for decoration as
well. So, in this way the students will be able to revise the unit easily.
(c) Activity:
Different flash cards will be used in the class and the students will tell the sources of light and
their uses as well.
Wrap-up:
Oral questions answers will be done to check the student’s understanding skills.
