NSTP 02 Activity 4 Community Immersion

1. The document discusses how the author can assist with a community immersion program by volunteering their time and skills, and by encouraging others to participate. The author believes participating in community service helps build confidence and allows one to both help others and learn new skills. 2. The author recommends a home visit immersion program for their community. Home visits would allow community leaders to assess people's living conditions, health, access to food, and animal welfare. This could help address issues before they become serious problems or result in accidents/deaths. It could also help identify families in need so sponsors can be found to help provide necessities.

ACTIVITY | Community Immersion

I. Answer the following questions using 3-5 sentences.

1. How will you help in conducting community immersion program?

I believe I can assist in the conduct of community immersion sap ag volunteer in things
or activities that require people, it is not mandatory to join the community immersion program
because volunteering comes from the heart. Another thing I can do is encourage others who want
to participate in the community immersion program. As I previously stated, I only encourage; it
is not necessary to force them. Because, as previously stated, participating in community
immersion programs is extremely beneficial because it allows you to share your skills with
others while also learning from them. Being embarrassed, like me, boosts our confidence, which
is why I don't regret joining the organization now at school, even though I'm afraid to face
people. Like me, being a shy person, it boosts our confidence, which is why I don't regret joining
the organization at school now, even though I'm afraid to face people. I tried to host and speak in
front of others, and ma'am said, we have to go out of our comfort zone. We need to try
something new, and I know that the community immersion program will teach me a lot while
also introducing me to many other people who can help me in the future or teach me thing I don't
know but want to learn. I know it will be worthwhile when I assist with community immersion.

2. What kind of immersion program do you think your community would benefit from? How
will it help your community?

For me, Home Visit is an immersion program that will benefit our community because if
we do a home visit, especially those who have positions in the barangay, I am sure they will see
the situation of others inside the house, especially if they have enough to eat during the day, have
a proper place to live, do the children have a healthy body as well as the elderly, and so do the
animals if they are properly cared for. The home visit will help to avoid things that are not
desirable, especially accidents or death, because they can be avoided if they are addressed
immediately. It is possible to donate or find sponsors for a fund that will be used to provide food
to people in need, to have “bayanihan” to repair their homes, to provide milk to children and the
elderly, and to prohibit the killing of any kind of animal. I remember a child who died in our
barangay due to excessive stomach pain, which was caused by his parents' inability to provide
for him; if those in charge made a home visit, they would know what the problem is in a home.
You don't have to make a home visit every day; you can do it once a month to learn about your
neighbor's attitude and be kept up to date.
