The D9 chart is specifically used to determine the

characteristics of one’s married life. It divides
each sign of the birth chart further into 9
divisions and thus helps us read and understand
the functions of each of them even better. Now
the various houses in the D9 chart would
represent various aspects of your marriage or
married life. But to talk about your partner or
spouse in specific, that could be done with the
help of the 7th house. There are few specific
things that one should look or search for in the
birth chart with the help of the D9 chart in order
to locate the specifications of one’s partner or
spouse. The most important things are listed
below:

The position of Venus in your birth chart

in case you are a man and the position of
Jupiter in case you are a woman.

Planets highly influencing the 7th planet.

The ascendant and the lord in the 7th

house and their influence on each other.

Planets that influence the 7th house.

The position of the 7th lord in each of the

Yes! You can know about your spouse's attributes

using vedic astrology.

If you want to know about your spouse looks

then, look who is the lord of your 7th house and
what nakshatra it have. If it have Ashlesha
nakshatra then your spouse will be beautiful and
so on.. many more nakshatra.

If you want to know about your spouse's

profession: Then look in what sign your D1 chart
7th lord is placed in D9 chart.

If it is in Sagittarius nakshatra. Then, your spouse

will be a good business person.

To determine your spouse’s attributes, you should

see both spouse’s kundali.

Jupiter’s position in the female’s kundali and

Venus’s position in the male’s kundali will tell you
your spouse’s attributes.
