ASSIGNMENT NO 1

Question no 1:

Ákhirah or Akhirat is an Islamic term referring to the afterlife. It is considered to be one of


the six main beliefs of Muslims. Akhirah is not name of one event, it is the process of shifting
for one Aalam to another and has many stages. In this assignment, you have to discuss breifly
all stages of Akhriah from body’s death till interance of heavens or....... hell (Alayaz u
Billah).

Answer:

Stages of Akhirah: The stages of akhirah from body’s death till interance of heavens or hell
are discussed below:

1. The Last Breath: This is the moment when the person about to die. The person’s life
passes in front of him as a flash and he will realize how short his life was and how he
has wasted it. At this moment the life of person on earth completes.
2. Wahshat al Qabr (Loneliness in Grave): This stage is faced by the deceased person
in the grave. Here the body has to spend time alone facing the grave’s constriction and
questions by Munkir-Nakir.
3. Grave’s Constriction: This basically is the part of afterlife where a person’s grave is
made to constrict as per the amount and type of Gunah he has been doing throughout
his life.
4. Questioning by Munkir Nakir: Two angels arrive in the grave of the person and are
responsible for questioning the dead. They have a terrifying form and ask questions
about the God, Prophet and religion.
5. The Barzakh: This is the place where all the souls of dead persons stay till the Day
of Judgment. Here the person receives Azab till the occurrence of the day of
judgement.
6. Qayamah:The Day of Judgment: This is the day when Allah Almighty judges each
and every person for whatever he has done in his life. This day will bring the end of
life on earth. Allah will gather all the humans in Al Hashr.
7. Al Hashr: At this stage Allah Almighty will gather everyone and there will be a
measure of the deeds of all on base of which Allah Almighty will decide the reward of
Jannah or the punishment of Hell.
8. Sirat Bridge: It is the path between Hashr and Jannah. It passes over Hell. All the
believers who have been rewarded with Jannah will pass over it easily whereas those
destined to hell will fall from it into hell.

Question no 2:

Write five major signs of Dooms Day (Day of Judgment) in the light of Ahadees e Sahehah.
Answer:

The five major signs of Dooms Day are as under:

1. Appearance of Dajjal
2. Yajooj and Majooj
3. Rise of sun from west
4. Return of Hazrat Isa (A.S)
5. Huge black smoke cloud that will cover the earth
