A keyline is a boundary line in graphic design that separates color and monochrome areas, or
different colored portions of printing, on a given page or printed work. The line itself, which is commonly a
black (or other dark colored) border, creates a space where lighter colors can be printed with minor
registration variations. Keylines for cropping were often simply specified on original artwork, and then
photos were manually stripped into the area, with the keylines themselves being applied as part of the
process in classic paste-up graphics workflows. When printing something that will be cut out with a die
form, folded, or has perforation lines, keylines are frequently used.
This led the researchers to conduct a study about the Key lime as a Disinfectant that can be used for
Cleaning
(6) INTRODUCTION:
(6.1) RATIONALE/SIGNIFICANCE
The significance of the study aims to help people, this research study is mainly focused on
the effects of disinfectant to the sink. The process included were using the disinfectant to the sink to
try if the disinfectant was effective.
Key lime is underrated Citrus fruit since Its like lemon, like lemon its used daily for many
purposes worldwide. The Key lime can be used as a disinfectant since its like lemon Commonly
used for baking pie
It is necessary to have a disinfectant for us to stay away from germs and safe. Disinfectant
can be used for cleaning germs in the sink in the bathroom, tiles and more. Mostly its used in the
sink and bathroom since people always use them.
In this modern era Keylime is mostly used for baking pie and they say its tasty. Key lime is
like lemon but smaller and its color green Like lemon it can be used for Disinfectant they both have
a strong aroma or smell it can be used as daily disinfectant.
In addition, Key Lime as disinfectant Can be used in different ways such ass cleaning.
Input:
Dependent Variable:
The amount of Vinegar
Independent Variable:
The amount and size of Key lime
Controlled Variables:
The amount of baking soda
Process:
Putting or Spraying the disinfectant on the object and check if it is cleaned well
Test Parameter:
Amount and size of each paper
Duration of the disinfectan on the substance
Output:
The auto – The Key lime disinfectant Cleaned the Dirt or stain in the sink
The auto – The key lime disinfectant didn’t Clean the dirt or stain in the sink
It used greater time compared when you used a normal disinfectant
This study, entitled “Key Lime Disinfectant” focuses on making and creating Key lime disinfectant
and to see if it has the potential in cleaning the Stain on the sink
(6.3) OBJECTIVES
General:
This study aims to create and make a Key lime disinfectant and prove that it can clean any stain
or dirt
Specific:
1. To determine the effectiveness of Disinfectant to the stain/dirt.
2. To conduct a disinfectant you need proper materials
3. To see the effectiveness of Disinfectant you need Substance with stains
Disinfectant(Key-lime)
Citrus × aurantiifolia commonly knowns as Key lime is a citrus hybrid (C. hystrix × C. medica)
native to tropical Southeast Asia. It has a spherical fruit, 25–50 mm (1–2 in) in diameter. The
Key lime is usually picked while it is still green, but it becomes yellow when ripe. The Key lime
is smaller, seedier, has higher acidity, stronger aroma, and thinner rind than the Persian
lime (Citrus × latifolia). It is valued for its characteristic flavor. The name comes from its
association with the Florida Keys, where it is best known as the flavoring ingredient in Key lime
pie. It is also known as West Indian lime, bartender's lime, Omani lime, or Mexican lime, the
last classified as a distinct race with a thicker skin and darker green colour. Philippine varieties
have various names, including dayap and bilolo. Wanted to see how Citrus aurantifolia (key
lime) juice and aqueous extracts of Cinnamomum iners (cinnamon) bark and Citrus hystrix
(kaffir lime) leaves affected Pseudomonas aeruginosa and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus
aureus' kinetic growth (MRSA). Spectrophotometry and viable cell counts versus bacterial
growth time were used to quantify antimicrobial action.
(8) METHODOLOGY
Experimental Research Design is concerned with the examination of the potential effect of the
independent variable on the dependent variable. This study make use of Qualitative design wherein test
trials will be done in order to compare and analyze the results whether the Key lime solution effects on the
stain of the substance to see if it’ll work functionally
Materials:
Key lime
Vinegar
Baking soda
Spray bottle or squeeze bottle
Water
Procedure:
Step 1: In a small bucket or 4 cup pyrex measuring cup, combine Vinegar, baking soda and hot
water
Step 2: Squeeze the juice from the Dayap(key lime), Then drop the rind in as well to infuse the
cleaner
Step 3: Stir well to dissolve the baking soda and allow to cool. Remove the lemon rind
Step 4: Transfer into a spray bottle or a squeeze bottle and label it clearly
Test Trial:
The Disinfectan will be put on the stain – the stain will be observed if it is cleaned well
To see the difference what can it can clean well – the stain or the dirt
q
Spray the Disinfectant on the
substance
Done
This study is expected to make and innovate a Key lime into an Key lime disinfectant one that can
clean stains and dirts in the sink or in the bathroom.
The study can help people, especially those Who’s having trouble cleaning
This also promotes and gives additional assurance of safety from identity theft, and protect
themselves from any data and information falling into wrong hands.
Also, allowing the reuse of those papers that become waste through recycling into more paper and
other useful items and eventually, helping the environment.
