Recognition First Quarter Script (Elementary)

S: Good Morning everyone. Before we begin the Recognition Program, I would like to remind everyone to
refrain from applauding or clapping during the ceremonies unless given the signal to do so. Please be
reminded also to turn off your cellphones or any electronic gadget or put it in silent mode as it may
interrupt the program.

J: We will start the program in _____ minutes. (may be repeated several times)

J: May I ask everybody to please settle down

S: There is a saying that “There is no elevator to success. For us to succeed, we need to invest hard work,
be dedicated to our work, stay determined through the struggles and waste no efforts.” Today, we are
gathered here to acknowledge the hard work of our dear resplendent pupils and students.

J: Ladies and gentlemen, a blessed morning to everyone!

S: I’m Straussberge K. Mercullo

J: I’m Julie Ann A. Castillo

S: And we are your masters of ceremony for this day’s event.

J: Recognition Day is the culmination of all hard work and a celebration of all your accomplishments
throughout the previous quarter.

S: To formally start with the ceremony, may I invite Ms. Sofia Pahimnayan to lead us, as we call upon our
Almighty God. This will be followed by the singing of the national anthem Please all rise.

S: Please all be seated.

J: To give us insights about education and success, please welcome our compassionate and dedicated
principal, Ms. Josephine L. Malicdem. Let’s give her a warm round of applause.

J: Thank you very much, Mam Josephine for that enlightening message. May we request that you please
stay on stage as we will now proceed to the awarding of certificates to our awardees. May we also call on
Ma’am Ma. Theresa D. Cuevas, our Finance Officer, to help our advisers in presenting the awards to our
learners. May I also request the parents of each child to accompany them on stage.

J: As we bring today’s affair to an end, may we call on Ms. Sofia to lead the closing prayer, which will be
followed by the singing of our school hymn.
