The Training Experience

Journal

FEB. 28 2023
Today was my first day of immersion in Sangley Point, Cavite City. Sir Leo and Sir Marlon

guide us until we go through inside sangley. As a newcomer, I was amazed by the different

structures of the canons and the various facilities that this place had to offer. I also encountered

many respectful officers during my visit. I also noticed that almost all people inside the sangley

were all navy and I was very amazed and motivated by them.

During our orientation in Sangley, we were taught basic knowledge about what we needed

to do. We were instructed about the dos and don'ts, such as not taking any pictures inside Sangley

and posting them on social media and also to don't go in the different places inside the sangley

without permissions. It was important to follow these rules to ensure the safety and security of

everyone in the area.

On this day, our teacher distributed our department assignments, and I found out that I

belong to the CNH Department, we're we are assign in the second naval bases PN (Phillipine

Navy) . I am excited to learn more about my department and to start my immersion in Sangley

POINT.

March 01 2023

Our 2nd day of our Immersion, every student has thei own department, and go to their

respective office. I also go to the department I’ve assigned with my classmate frenchie. In the
department call Cavite Naval Hospital (CNH) our officer teach us how to scan some file and save it

to the computer. Our officer allow us to have a tour to be more familiar in this place. This day was

very borring because after we scan file we do nothing and wait for the time to get home. But there

has a new officer called sir bolling whou bought us in PE department. This is my 2 nd day and im so

exited to attend the 3rd day of immersion.

March 02 2023

3rd day of our immersion, sir leo chat on our gc that we have a jogging today at 5:30

in the morning at samonte park. We prepare early and went to the park. In the park we saw our

classmate who’s start stretching so we stretch away and then start the jogging, after jogging we

prepare our self to get ready for the immersion on our department. After preparing we ride in a jeep

and a few minuets later we came at Philippine Navy (PN) where the CNH place. As we get on our

department we greet a good morning to our respectful officer and start our works. OFFicer teach

us how to arrange medical file and he also told us the important of saving and also the important of

log book. In this you need more patience to did this properly. And this day was very amazing.

March 03 2023

4th day of our immersion, I was awake very early because this day we will

communicate with every applicant and also with the navy officer. I thought this work is hard but if
you are really focus and dedicated it will be easy. This day was very challenging because I was

nervous of getting wrong because of so many officer passing their file and who also need to get

their file too. So in this you need to be fast and be careful on what on what you’ve seen because

some file is confidential and cannot be seen by the civilian.

March 09 2023

On the 5th day of our immersion, I woke up very early because we had to

communicate with every applicant and also with the navy officer. It was a busy day as there were

many papers that needed to be filed. As we were arranging the papers, Sir Bolling went to the

office and brought us some food to eat. At first, I was hesitant to eat because I felt ashamed in

front of my officer. However, in the end, we decided to eat the food they gave us.

After finishing our meal, we resumed our work to finish it as quickly as possible and leave

early. However, time flew by so fast that we didn't realize it was already 5 pm and the papers were

not yet done. Hence, we decided to go home and continue the paperwork the following day.

March 10 2023

On the sixth day of our work immersion, it was Friday and the end of the week. I was full of

energy as every day is essential, and I wanted to make the most of it. Axcel and I spent the day
filing papers, and there were a lot of them since there were many applicants. We joked around

about the number of papers we had to file.

As I logged everything into the logbook, my hand began to tire from all the writing.

Nevertheless, we were determined to finish the work and wrap up the week on a high note. Once

we finished, we asked if we could have a half-day off as we were going back to our hometown for

the weekend. Our request was granted, and we left with a spring in our steps, excited to go home.

Overall, it was a fulfilling week of work immersion, and we gained valuable experience in the

Navy Hospital. Despite the long hours of filing and logging, we were grateful for the opportunity to

learn and to be a part of the Navy community.

March 13 2023

On the seventh day of our work immersion, my companions and I headed to the

other base first because there was a formation and meeting. We were warmly greeted by the

personnel in charge, and it was an excellent opportunity to meet new people and learn more about

the Navy.

After the meeting, we returned to the office, where we got another massage, which helped

us feel relaxed and ready to work. We then proceeded to fill out our daily time record (DTR) after

entering the CNH.

The workday began, and we were tasked to update the computer system. It was a tedious

task, but we remained focused and determined to complete it efficiently. Throughout the day, we

worked diligently and made significant progress in updating the system.

Overall, it was another productive day of work immersion, and we learned the importance of

being diligent and focused on the task at hand. The massage and friendly interactions with the

personnel helped us feel welcomed and appreciated in the Navy community.

March 14 2023

On the eighth day of our work immersion, I woke up early but moved slowly, causing

my friends to wait for me to enter. I apologized for being late and felt a little embarrassed about it.

However, we continued with our work, which involved encoding data on the computer. Axcel and I

took turns since he was feeling dizzy, and it made him uncomfortable to sit for a long time.

While he was encoding, I was on the phone, and vice versa. We managed to work efficiently

despite the distractions and discomfort. We took a break and had lunch around noon to replenish

our energy and continue working.

Overall, it was a challenging day due to the discomfort and distractions, but we persevered

and completed our tasks. We learned the importance of supporting each other and working

together as a team.

March 15 2023

On the ninth day of our work immersion, we arrived at the Navy Hospital with

renewed energy and enthusiasm. Frenchie and I resumed our task of filing papers, which had

become a routine part of our work. As always, there were many applicants, and we joked about the

endless paperwork that came with the job.

As I logged everything into the logbook, my hand began to tire, but I persevered and made

sure that everything was properly recorded. We worked for almost the entire day, diligently

completing our tasks and ensuring that everything was in order before leaving.

Once we finished, we bid farewell to our colleagues and left for home, feeling fulfilled and

grateful for the experience. Despite the repetitive nature of the work, we learned the importance of

attention to detail and the value of hard work in achieving our goals.
March 16 2023

On the tenth day of our work immersion, I arrived at the Navy Hospital feeling

energized and ready to work. We started the day with breakfast, which gave us the fuel we needed

to tackle the tasks ahead.

Our first task was to untie the papers that were stapled together, which was a painful

experience for our hands since there were so many papers to go through. Once we finished that,

we moved on to filing the documents. This task was also challenging since we had to separate the

papers according to rank.

After a busy morning, we took a break to have lunch and recharge our batteries. We then

went back to work, determined to finish everything before the day was over. We worked diligently,

making sure that everything was in order before we left in the afternoon.

Despite the physical strain on our hands, we learned the importance of perseverance and

dedication in completing our tasks. We also gained a better understanding of the importance of

organization and attention to detail in the workplace.

March 17 2023
On the eleventh day of our work immersion, we continued with our usual tasks of

filing and logging documents. Despite the repetition, we remained focused and committed to doing

our best.

As we finished our work, we asked if we could be allowed to take a half day off since we

were heading home to the province. Fortunately, we were given permission, and our hearts were

filled with joy as we looked forward to spending time with our loved ones.

We said our goodbyes to our colleagues, grateful for the experience and the lessons we

had learned during our time at the Navy Hospital. We left the office with a sense of

accomplishment and a renewed appreciation for the value of hard work and dedication.

March 20 2023

On the twelfth day of our work immersion, we continued our tasks at the PE office.

Our supervisor, Ma'am Tam, provided us with guidance on how to assist the soldiers who come in

for their medical tests and results.

In our office, we maintain a log book where we record the soldiers' test results and medical

records. We take this responsibility seriously since these records are crucial in ensuring that the

soldiers receive the care and attention they need.

During this particular day, my companion, Frenchie, and I were tasked to work on the

computer to update and organize the records. It was a challenging but fulfilling experience as we

learned the importance of accuracy and attention to detail in handling these sensitive records.

We were grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the mission of the Navy Hospital and to

serve those who dedicate their lives to serving our country. We left the office that day with a sense

of pride and fulfillment in the work that we had accomplished.

March 21 2023

On the thirteenth day of our work immersion, we began by attending a formation and

meeting at the other base. The personnel in command warmly welcomed us, and we felt honored

to be a part of their team. Afterward, we returned to our office and enjoyed another round of

massage before signing in through the CNH system and performing a DTR.

Our task for the day was to update the computer, which we spent the entire day working on.

It was a tedious task, but we were determined to do it well. We made sure to double-check

everything before submitting the final output. Although it was a long day, we felt fulfilled and

satisfied with what we have accomplished.

March 22 2023

Fourteenth day on our work immersion, my buddies had to wait for me to enter

because I got up early but moved slowly, which was my problem. I was a little off in that portion

since they thought it was unfortunate for him because we were running late. However, the work

continued; we encoded on the computer, and Axcel alternated since he was really dizzy and it hurt

his ass. Both he and I were on the phone while he was encoding. To have energy for work, we ate

after noon.

March 23 2023
On the fifteenth day of our work immersion, my hand was already tired from all the

logging and filing we've been doing for the past weeks. But I pushed myself to keep going because

I knew we had to finish our tasks before heading home. Axcel and I worked on the files again, and

we were amazed at how much paperwork we had already accumulated. As I sorted through the

papers, I couldn't help but think about the people behind those names and how they were counting

on us to process their applications. It made me realize the importance of our work and motivated

me to do my best. Finally, when we finished for the day, we said our goodbyes and headed home,

feeling accomplished and grateful for the experience.

March 24 2023

On the sixteenth day of our work immersion, I started the day energetically after

having breakfast. Our task for the day was to untie papers with a stapler, which was quite

challenging because there was a lot of information on each paper. We also had to file them again,

which was even more difficult because they had to be sorted based on rank.

After finishing our tasks, we took a break to eat before returning to work. We worked hard

for the rest of the day, and in the afternoon, we finished our tasks and headed home. Despite the

challenges, I felt accomplished and satisfied with what we had achieved.

March 27 2023

Seventeenth day on our work immersion, there is a lot of paperwork because there are

many applicants, hahaha joking. The following time I logged in the logbook, my hand grew tired, so

I only wrote: "When we finished the work, of course we said goodbye if we could have a half day.
March 28 2023

Last day of our work immersion, and I felt relieved that it was over. We all gathered at the

other base in the morning for instructions before heading out. As it was our last day, my buddy

Frenchie and I decided to buy pizza and coke as a thank you to everyone. However, the pizza took

so long to cook that I actually fell asleep at the shop, and we

Observation and Insights

During my Work Immersion program, I had the opportunity to observe and gain insights at

the Barangay Hall of Cavite Naval Hospital. From my experience, I found that the area was

conducive to learning, and it provided a comfortable and pleasing environment for visitors.

Additionally, I noticed that the officers on duty had a good relationship with the nearby residents,

creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Compared to other offices I had visited before, I found that this area was not intimidating and

was one of the best qualities of the place that I really appreciated. The Work Immersion Program

was an excellent experience that provided me with unexpected knowledge and experiences. The

hours spent in this program were well worth it. Overall, I found this program to be very satisfactory,

and I witnessed firsthand how helpful it can be for every graduating student.

Not all students can afford to go to college, and some of us need to go straight to work. The

Work Immersion program partially equips these students with the knowledge and skills they need

for their future jobs. Personally, I learned to socialize better with people and to overcome my fears

of interacting with others. I am grateful for this program because it has taught me unexpected

lessons and provided me with tons of knowledge.

In my opinion, the Department of Education's decision to conduct this program was one of

the smartest things they have done. This program not only prepares students for the working

environment, but it also offers a wealth of unexpected lessons and experiences that are invaluable.

with equal respect, regardless of their age, is a valuable lesson that will serve you well in the future.

It's also impressive that you were able to learn so many new things in such a short amount

of time. Being able to apply what you learned and identify areas where you needed to improve

shows a willingness to take initiative and a desire to learn.

Overall, it sounds like you had a successful work immersion experience and gained valuable

Work Immersion Highlights

It's great that Work Immersion experience is busy and fun. It sounds like the

confidence, which is fantastic. It's true that i enjoy what were doing, it's easier to stay

i were able to find enjoyment in your work and that i were able to learn and grow

from the experience. I Keep up the positive attitude and continue to seek out

opportunities to learn and develop my skills.

Problem Encountered

Some of the challenges I went through while in work immersion was being away from my

family because I'm not used to being away from them so I cried every night because I miss them

so my only way to be with them is to come home every weekend. second is my companionship

with my dorm mates, because each other's attitudes won't really disappear, but I can control my

patience with them. Thirdly, my daily spending is financial, I save there because I know we are

also short. the fourth is that I travel every day from our dorm to our workplace because it is far

away. fifth is the remaining activities, I can't do it in the dorm because I'm distracted by other

things. Those are just some of the problems I went through when I did work immersion, I was able

to handle it because I didn't want to waste all the expenses and hardships of my parents to support

me in what I wanted
Suggested and Recomendation.
