This learning Episode provides an opportunity to examine how classrooms are structured
or designed to allow everyone’s maximum participation for effective learning. You should be
able to examine how classroom management practices affect learning. This Episode enhances the
application of the theories learned in the following professional subjects such as Facilitating
Learner-Centered Teaching and The Child and Adolescent Learners and Learning Principles.
Activity 2- Interview your cooperating teacher about how they impose classroom
management during face-to-face classes.
1. What are the daily routines you imposed in your class?
2. How do you plan the setting arrangement of your students?
3. How do you handle misbehaved students?
4. How do you give positive and/or negative reinforcement?
ANALYZE
Activity 3- Answer the following questions:
1. How did the classroom organization and routines affect the learners’ behavior?
-The classroom organization and routines affects the learner behavior in a sense that it serves as a
guide for the students on how to manage their task and it also serve as a guide for them to change
their attitude because they know that their teacher is monitoring their behavior.
2. What should the teacher have in mind when she/he designs the classroom organization and
routines? What theories and principles should you have in mind?
-The teacher should bare in his mind when he designs the classroomorganization and routine, the
effects of those to the learners, what would bethe outcome of those things if it is effective or not.
-I guess the theory of John Dewey which is the experimental learning or thelearning by doing.
By this theory we can help our students to work or learn independently, because not all times we
have a companion to do our task, they should learn to face the world independently without
depending
3. Which behavior strategies were effective in managing the behavior of the learners? In
motivating students? Why were they effective?
-I guess the effective strategy in managing the behavior of the students isthe recitation or the
student centered strategy so that the students willbe attentive to the discussion and will focus
their attention to the lesson,so that if the teacher will asked a question they will not be afraid
toanswertoansw.

Activity 4
1. Imagine yourself organizing your classroom in future. In what grade year level do you see
yourself? What routines and procedures would you consider for this level Why?
-I’m imagining myself in the first section in the second year level. If ever I will be organizing a
classroom, the routines that I will practice is first the prayerand then checking of the attendance. I
would also do different exercises tomeasure their learning and checking all their activities.
2. Make a list of the rules you are likely to implement in this level. Why would you choose these
rules?
Come to class on time.
Follow the rules and regulations inside the class.
Wear proper uniform.
Always wear I’d.
No cheating during the exam.
I’m choosing those rules to discipline the students to be responsible and to
have a discipline to their selves.
