And now my recipe for French toast. It’s delicious, it’s easy and it’s my family’s favourite breakfast. The
ingredients are simple. Most people have them in their kitchen. You need three eggs. You also need one and a
half cups of milk, a little salt, some sugar and butter … um … what else? … Yes! Bread! You can’t make French
toast without bread!
Now, beat the ingredients together very well in a large bowl. Not the bread, of course – only the eggs and milk!
Add a little salt. Then, slice the bread – you need eight pieces of bread for this recipe. Next, put the bread in the
egg and milk mixture. Then put a little butter in a frying pan. When it’s hot, fry the bread for two minutes on each
side.
Finally, put a little sugar on the bread and fry it again for about 15 seconds on each side. Serve the French toast
with jam, honey or fruit. Lovely!
