 Worn wiper blade….change it.
 dr blade (developer roller blade).
 Check damage on the developer sealing blade

3 causes of repeteating defects that always appear at the same distance

and position from each other
Check the repetitive defective table of your printer.

 Defective drum (OPC)…..change it…for temporary solution clean it with

isopropyl alcohol.
 A cut in the developer roller (magnetic roller)….clean it with a soft cloth.
 A cut in the Charge roller(PCR)…clean it with a cloth, change it.
 Sth out-gassing from PCR will damage the OPC.

4 causes of large gray smears of toner across the page.

be mixed with any other toner.
 Worn or distort developer roller blade.

 Old or dirty developer roller…clear it will solve the problem temporarily.
Clean it with a soft cloth.

7 fine straight vertical white line/ lines

 Scratch of the coating of the developer roller
 Scratch of the coating of the PCR(charge roller)

8 vertical white line/ lines

 Toner low
 Doctor blade(developer roller blade) old/ damaged.
 Foreign material stuck near the blade…clear the edge of the blade with a
joro matseja
 Foreign material stuck on laser light bemigebabet bota

 Low quality or too old toner
 Toner is low
 Worn developer roller blade or developer roller blade
 Worn opc

10 white page print

 Toner seal still installed..remove it.
 Verify contact b/n cartilage and printer.
 Inspect contacts inside the cartilage…check the developer roller(magnetic
roller) contact end plate and developer contact spring.
 OPC isn’t connected fully…check continuity of the drum internal contact
with DMM .
 Beamer door might be broken.

11 black page print

 PCR position problem or damaged…check the PCR saddles are clean and in
the right position.
 Inspect contacts inside the cartilage…check the developer roller contact
end plate and developer contact spring.

12 to dark page
 Old, low quality or damp toner powder.
 Developer roller(magnetic roller) might be damaged
 Developer roller blade (dr blade)might be damaged
 OPC might be damaged

13 cause of gray bg over the entire page with no toner on the drum
 PCR related problem
 Toner quality or low
 Developer roller or developer roller blade might be damaged
 Don’t mix toner…clear the cartilage before refilling. Or it might cause
ghosting or back grounding

distance.
 Bad contacts…check the developer roller ----end plate and developer
contact springs.
 PCR problem
 OPC continuity
 OPC contact is dirty or not contain fully

back of the page
 Dirty or damaged charge roller(PCR)..clean it with water and cloth.
 Leaking cartridge …a damaged or bent recovery blade will cause random
dots all over the page. This will get worse as more printing is done. the
toner will then accumulate on top of the blade and start to drop off. The
more printing is done the more will accumulate and drop off…..> replace
the recovery blade.
