JAZZ IMPROV& SERIES
We begun this series with Sax Fury with the intent of capturing sounds, instrumentation,
articulations and textures from jazz, improvised music & beyond and here we are.
Balkan style is characterized by a strong, virtuoso playing, powerful vibratos and
tasty ethnical nuances.
Its language and stylistic elements don't belong to balkan traditional music exclusively but
they entered the world of jazz (Balkan Jazz is actually an established sub-genre),
film scoring and popular music.
For this reason, you'll find Balkan Clarinet a very versatile instrument you can use for
numerous musical creations and be prepared for other upcoming Balkan instruments,
meant to create a powerful balkan ensemble!
